I bumped up another thread in the FBI Top 10 section so hopefully that fixed the glitch.
P.S. I'm counting this as captures on tv since Crime Watch Daily showed Delgado's picture for 5 seconds once. (It was a one minute breaking news update type thing a few months ago).

This is really amazing news! Although we should ask ourselves, why should it take publicity like the top ten list to "motivate" Mexican law enforcement to arrest these fugitives. It is completely unfair to the victims and their families and for the officers who have spent so much manpower to locate them. This is my concern as well and makes me wonder how many other fugitives are hiding in plain sight in Mexico and they're just dragging their feet. I appreciate Mexico's cooperation with the U.S. where if the person isn't a native, they're getting to the point of just deporting them right away now. But my concern is natives such as Delgado who committed crimes in the U.S. and should be sent back here and punished. The pressure did the trick, but you can't put every Mexican-born wanted by the U.S. criminal hiding out in Mexico on a list with only 10 slots. Relationships with the U.S. and Mexico have dramatically improved and I'm grateful for that, I just hope they continue to improve with native fugitives as well.

I feel happy that Delgado is in custody. But it makes you wonder if they are indeed dragging their feet with other current top Tenners born in Mexico like Fidel Urbina. I understand why the Mexican authorities and military are dragging their feet to bring in Ravelo because they need intelligence before hand and if they just go in there it won't turn out well. Also this is why I predicted she'd be on the list, being a high profile case... They'll put pressure on Mexico to do this and she ordered it so it shows the heartlessness of the crime.

Hey scumhunter I know this is a bit off topic, but I was thinking it be a good idea if we leave the Delgado thread on the top ten section until she is officially replaced or make a top ten captures section. Just want to give you some ideas. ☺️

Well I was on Instagram searching for some images on Delgado and the most shocking thing I found. Dr. Hatchers aunt and Brenda Delgado's 14 year old brother were just commenting back and forth non stop and it seemed they did go at it the entire time she's been at large. Now I have confirmed it is her brother because on his bio it says "love u to death sis with a heart" honestly I understand him trying to back up his sister and everything but she fled... She hid in Mexico and decided to go down the hard way. She was very manipulative and possessive.

I'm going to be honest and say I have no interest in reading that family stuff. Except to say if a family member of mine killed someone I'm turning them in. (As a matter of fact, I did have an AMW type situation in my family but I don't want to get into the details again). So while I can relate, I also can't condone the way these people do.
Also I want to keep the top 10 section strictly at large related in order to focus on them and not have any resolved cases distract readers. Delgado's captured and will hopefully receive justice. Other than updates (additional details of how she was captured, extradition dates, sentencing etc), I don't want to give her any more than her 15 minutes of shame she didn't deserve. The other fugitives we have no choice but to continue to make celebrities yet since they haven't been captured yet.

Ok and now I have no choice but to post again as I found some updates: -Even if Mexican officials hadn't caught Delgado last Friday, she was going to surrender anyway. A plan was made with officials and her defense attorney for a family member to walk Delgado across the border to a bridge near Laredo, walk across the bridge and turn herself in. Officials arrested Delgado just hours before that was supposed to happen. Her defense attorney says he was initially "livid" the plan went to waste, and thinks officials made the arrest sooner because they were motivated by money. -Delgado was staying with a friend at a house in Torreon (as I correctly predicted, someone was housing her). -It could take at least six months if not more for Delgado to be extradited, unless she waives her rights to extradition, which could speed up the process. crimeblog.dallasnews.com/2016/04/accused-mastermind-in-dallas-dentists-murder-could-remain-in-mexico-for-months.html/As for my thoughts, it would have been easier had the surrender planned work since we wouldn't need to worry about extradition. Murder is a punishable offense in Mexico no matter what, so the worst case scenario is she's tried there instead. However, that surrender plan could have made the difference between life in prison and 30 years in prison if Delgado's convicted. (I believe you can't get more than 30 years for murder in Mexico.) I think Delgado was never facing the death penalty anyway, she would have never agreed to cross the border if that was still on the table. However, it's unfortunate that plan didn't work out, but hopefully Mexico does the right thing and sends Delgado back here, since her alleged crime was committed here.

On one hand Scumhunter I agree with you that it would have been easier if the plan to turn herself had stayed in place. On the other hand...promises are made to be broken. I've lost track of how many times I saw fugitives on AMW that were going to turn themselves in but never did. Better to be safe then sorry.

Great point, she could have got cold feet and said to her relative while walking to Laredo "hey, let's go to Cancun instead" or something like that lol.
Yeah, great if she was going to surrender sooner, but what the heck, why not arrest her earlier if you can. My only concern is I hope she still faces life without parole if convicted. (She's also entitled to be considered innocent until proven guilty (although it doesn't look good for her that one guy confessed and says she hired him), but if she did this crime, she really needs to pay).

I'd like to know exactly what Brenda was thinking would happen by allegedly murdering her romantic rival. "You know Brenda, I know I left you for someone else, but now that I see you're a jealous and murderous psychopath, you really made me put things in perspective, let's get back together and live happily ever after."? I remember when I was younger and I would get really upset if a girl didn't like me. To be honest while rejection still is always disappointing, one thing I realized as I got older was there were plenty of fish in the sea and now if I go on a date or something and the girl doesn't reply back to me or rejects another date, oh well, disappointing, but she's one of many. On to the next one. Brenda couldn't just move on, date someone else, like any other normal person. He was one guy who dumped her. Go cry to a friend and take a bubble bath and get over it. Nope, she had to allegedly murder her romantic rival like that would solve things. I mean there was really absolutely nothing she could have gotten accomplished by what she did, and what makes Dr. Hatcher's murder so tragic is how unnecessary it was. Sad to say but that isn't how the minds of people who commit domestic violence work. They view the people they are dating as property and nothing more and if those people dare to walk away and or find someone else, they have to be punished by either killing them or killing someone they love. In this case it was the latter.

This past week Brenda Delgado went on trial for ordering the killing of Dr. Kendra Hatcher. After four days, she was found guilty in less then half an hour and sentenced to life in prison(death penalty wasn't an option.) IMO,it will be a worse punishment then death would be because people like Brenda are all about control and she'll be going to place where she'll never have that again. I hope Kendra's family has a measure of peace now knowing everyone involved in this is now in prison.

Otherwise, I think the State of Texas would have been very inclined to seek it.
