I just rewatched the Unsolved Mysteries segment on Schulze (in a UM mood with new episodes happening soon) and when I looked a little further on the internet it said her parents lived in Mission Viejo, California in the 90's. There's a Gloria Schulze listed there in people search but I doubt it would be her actual address since that would be too easy and she would be arrested already although it did give a possible last name alias of Schulza.

As of this update (September 29th, 2021), there is still a UFAP (unlawful flight to avoid prosecution) warrant in PACER court records search.

Schulze has passed away in Yellowknife Canada she had been living under a alias Kate Dooley and she passed away in 2019 she never faced justice but at least she will face judgement in the life after this one AZ family.com is my source Found the article about Gloria’s death. The fact that she fled all the way to the remote community of Yellowknife shows how she stayed under the radar for all these years. At least authorities were able to resolve this case from an investigative standpoint. www.azfamily.com/2024/05/29/fugitive-who-killed-woman-1994-dui-crash-scottsdale-died-canada-police-say/

Just goes to show she was a heartless killer who had no remorse for the life she took and was still a danger to the public. Makes you wish these countries had their fingerprint systems linked because she could have been brought back to Arizona to face justice for what she did to Angela. I will say dying from cancer is no fun so her last months on earth weren't fun ones. Not much of a comfort to Angela's family but it's about the only justice that can be done in this case.

At least she has been found so she can't harm anyone else even though I agree with ninja108 she had every opportunity to surrender and the fact that she not only killed in the states but as ninja 108 stated in Canada she was arrested for DUI shows she was a pathetic cowardly killer but at least she can't hurt anyone else ever again

Not that I wish this upon anyway but she died in a likely terrible way from cancer- Schulze has been profiled on In Pursuit so I’ll update the capture directory when I get a chance.

Whenever it's a drunk driving case, especially one where tips have run dry, I wonder if the person later died thanks to their habits. We've speculated on this about Michelle Comstock thanks to her hard-partying Lifestyle, so perhaps we can wonder about Schulze as well. Also, I think Derek mentioned on the old forum, and I agree, even though there's no evidence supporting it, for some reason I can picture her in Canada. I have no valid reasons to back this up, it's just a random thought I have that for some reason I can see her there. I would like to see this case solved though. The sad irony of it all was the victim was a young college student who started a "Students Against Drunk Driving" group. Oh I said Canada. Thanks to outlawtaco for reminding me lol.

Won't lie, this is one of the people who got away that will always bother me. Not just for her lack of remorse for the crime she committed but because there WAS a chance to bring her to justice but because of a lack of international sharing of fingerprints, she was able to get away again. Only comfort one can get is her last months weren't fun ones, still not enough though.

More details are emerging about her time at Yellowknife she worked menial jobs and kept a low profile she was an incredibly private person and often worked as a house painter and working in mining camps and it appears she spent a good chunk of time in Yellowknife cbc is my source

I would also say this case shows a myth a lot of people have about people who injure/kill others while driving under the influence, that they'll be forever haunted by what they did. This murderer killed one person while driving drunk, went on the run and kept on doing the same thing knowing full well it had already cost someone her life. That is about as evil as it gets. Sad note to this case is Rose Marie Maher passed away in 2021, not knowing she had outlived her daughter's killer. In the same breath, if she had known it would have come with the knowledge Gloria never spent a day in prison. If there's an afterlife, I hope Rose is at peace with Angela and that Gloria is getting what she deserves.
