On November 28, 2006, authorities in Houston, Texas say that gang members Augustin and Aldo were driving around a local high school. They encountered 16-year old Julian Ruiz and started a conversation with him. Julian pulled up his shirt to reveal a tattoo and Augustin shot Julian several times. Julian was rushed to a hospital but tragically, he died of his gunshot wounds. Authorities believe that Augustin and Aldo fled to Mexico but have likely split up by now.
Tragically, Julian wanted to leave his gang-infested neighbourhood, join military school and become a councillor for abused teenagers when he was murdered. Gangs relentlessly tried to recruit Julian to join their illegal groups.

Thoughts? We have yet another story of a perfectly good, law-abiding young person who is murdered because of petty gang issues. Both Augustin and Aldo were 17 when they were willing to kill a fellow teenager which to me makes them even more dangerous. These two are probably still in Mexico but as we've seen in the past, Mexican citizens have done the right thing by calling in tips and helping to get these pieces of garbage arrested and extradited out of their wonderful nation. That gives me hope that Augustin and Aldo will be captured.
