According to NewsLibrary, I have information on Travis Sherod Wilkens (#530). In September 1998, Travis committed a drive-by shooting that left one man dead and four other people wounded, a teenager being paralyzed from the gunshot wounds. EDIT: Frederick Yokom (#512) was wanted for stealing $308,000 in fine jewelry and fled on a robbery warrant. EDIT: Thomas Bimbo Jr. (#461) posed as an utility worker to rob the homes of senior citizens in New Jersey. As part of a deal with prosecutors, he had to return $42,000 to his victims. It went right over my head there's a guy named Thomas Bimbo Jr. in the capture directory. Sounds like he lived up to his name though. To quote Jerry Seinfeld, he's a male Bimbo, he's a Mimbo.

I also have detailed information on Richard Yoshino (#30). In 1974 he killed two inmates in a Hawaii prison and then escaped. He was arrested in Torrance, California in 1984 but then skipped bail.

Received this email on number 88 Leslie Ray Smith!
"Ref AMW #88, Leslie Ray Smith, I'm 1 of the 3 case agents that worked his case and took him down late 1989. We were part of the USMS FIST(Fugitive Investigative Strike Team) in Pima County/ Tucson Az. His case was aired on a Sat. night, he was recognized under an alias by an employee at a dry cleaner's that he managed, but he had 2 days head start on us. At one point we contacted a bar where he liked to hang out, and while 1 agent was inside interviewing an employee, the other 2 spotted him driving up and walking towards the building. 1 agent drove up alongside him, I walked up behind and we took him down with total surprise. The great part was when the inside agent came out stating that they hadn't seen him in a few days, we pointed him out in the back seat of our U/C car. We drove RICO-seized beat-up drug dealers cars with out-of-state plates. True, Smith was not violent, but he did ruin quite a number of lives."
P.S. He knows Smith went to prison but doesn't know what his sentence was. According to the case agent, AMW did a televised re-enactment of the arrest, using the same agents who had worked his case.
Really cool!

It appears Tina Barron (AMW Direct Capture #1188) is possibly wanted again as there's one listed on the Sacramento Crime Alert website as wanted for attempted murder as of December 2016 although some of the info doesn't match up exactly to AMW's Tina Barron. I don't know what happened since she wasn't supposed to have bail. My assumption is maybe she struck a plea deal and received a light sentence and parole but violated parole, but that would be only an assumption. www.crimealert.org/wanteds.aspx?SID=50870

OK, it's definitely the same Tina Barron, I coughed up the 1 dollar it costs to do Sacramento court case searches (This may sound cheap but I'm pissed I even had to spend one dollar LOL). The attempted murder charge may actually be a new charge though.
Apparently she struck some sort of plea deal with the AMW case and received little jail time and/or probation. (You have to spend an extra 5 dollars for the court transcripts, not doing that LOL).

Man, she looks awful! I wonder if she's gotten into drugs, because she looks a lot thinner than when AMW profiled her.

Hello searcher02, welcome to the forum! There are numerous fugitives captured in America's Most Wanted's 24 year history that aren't listed in the capture directory because America's Most Wanted never took credit for the capture. The capture directory is only for fugitives that were captured as a direct result of the show. It is possible AMW had something to do with Dempsey's capture but for whatever reason they declined to take credit.

Don't know how we never heard this (at least not that I know of) but AMW capture #571 Tibis Kneipp died in prison in 2007. Found this out while reading an article about a current child molestation fugitive from Fort Collins who likely fled to Mexico mentioning fugitive history from the area. (off-topic but that fugitive is now in my case file list but no plans yet to post his case since police asking for help in locating him has not yet been mentioned in any articles). www.kibbeyfishburn.com/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=908370&fh_id=13239P.S. Also off-topic but why do these obits of fugitives/convicts always make them sound like such great members of society? I understand they had a family, but it's always "So and so, was a poet, artist, loved flowers, loved people" and I'm always like "how about mentioning they killed someone?"

Family members aren't going to stop loving their loved ones most of the time, even when he or she does a horrible thing. And what Kneipp did was as horrible as you can get. So seeing his obit doesn't surprise me one bit. Ricardo Londell Harris # 576 obit is still up and it's just as disgusting. All I can say is to both of them is good riddance to bad rubbish and thank goodness their victims loved ones got to see justice with their loved ones killers dying in prison.

Bittersweet in a way reading this capture list. AMW was still doing so much good when it was canceled and I have no doubt that if it was still on the air, we'd be closing in on capture 2,000 by now.

Well Good Riddance, I glad the world will be a better place without this scumbag, I don't care about his stupid obituary.
