Guillermo Peralta Castaneda, wanted for the murder of his girlfriend was aired on the September 24th, 2005 episode of America's Most Wanted. Below is the archive description of the case:
Man Allegedly Stabs And Kills Mother Of His Child
When Lisa Ann Bourquardez failed to pick up her kids from their babysitter on January 27, 2005, her family became concerned. Lisa's mom immediately grew suspicious so she retrieved the kids and then went to check on her daughter.
Unfortunately, her suspicions revealed every mother's worst nightmare. It turns out Lisa's boyfriend had similar concerns. He headed to the house where the couple lived in Cobb County, Georgia. When he arrived, he found blood everywhere. Shortly after, Lisa's mother arrived at the house.
Lisa's loved ones called the police who sped to the house and then made a gruesome discovery.
Police Point Finger At Lisa's Ex-Lover
When police arrived, they checked the house and found Lisa's dead body shoved into a cramped closet. Before moving in with her new boyfriend, police say she had recently split with Guillermo Peralta Castaneda -- the father of her 6-month-old child.
Police believe Castaneda rode his bicycle to Lisa's house that day and confronted her as she was walking out. Police say he stabbed her at least 50 times before discarding her body. He then allegedly took off in her new boyfriend's car. Police found it 12 days later in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Alabama.
It wasn't long before police charged Castaneda with Lisa's murder.
More Charges For Castaneda
Despite the horrific nature of Lisa's death, police say this isn't the first time Castaneda killed someone. Police say they learned that Castaneda killed another person in 2000. Authorities in Vera Cruz, Mexico say Castaneda killed a man by shooting him in the back of the head.
Now, Castaneda faces several charges and they say it's time to bring him down.
Thoughts? This is a severely underrated case in my opinion. Castaneda already killed once before and then he kills the mother of his own child. He has ties to Mexico, but the fact that he killed someone in Vera Cruz complicates things a bit. There's no mention that he's wanted for the crime or if he served any time for it, but I take it he wouldn't be given a warm reception if he went back to the area. With that being said, he could easily hide in other Mexican jurisdictions.
