(Above photo credit: ksat.com) From ksat.com: AUSTIN, Texas – A San Antonio woman wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a Sonic Drive-In manager has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Adiah Namir Roberson. Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is also offering a reward of up to $5,000. Roberson, 17, has been on the run since the July 7 fatal shooting of Daniel Lacy Shrewsbury at the fast-food restaurant located at 5510 Babcock Rd. San Antonio police said when Shrewsbury arrived at work, he found out that Roberson had tried to pay for food with counterfeit money and had taken money from an employee. Shrewsbury then went outside to take a photo of Roberson’s vehicle’s license plate. Joshua Joseph, who was with Roberson, got upset and threatened to assault Shrewsbury and warned him he was going to get shot. Moments later, Roberson got out of the car and shot Shrewsbury, police said. Joseph was arrested on Aug.16 and charged with murder. Roberson is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She has piercings on her nose, upper and lower lips, face and on one eyebrow. To be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters MUST provide information to authorities using one of the following three methods: Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477). Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about and then clicking on the link under their picture. Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section). www.ksat.com/news/local/2024/09/12/sonic-murder-suspect-from-san-antonio-added-to-texas-10-most-wanted-fugitives-list/Thoughts? As of today’s posting date (September 13th, 2024), Roberson is still listed on the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) website as one of their top ten most wanted fugitives. Also obligatory reminder that AMWFans is not associated with Texas DPS and tipsters must contact them to get any reward money. I will say even at 17 Adiah is beyond stupid if guilty of the alleged charges. www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/MostWanted/fugitiveDetails?id=768Admin Note: If you have any (news-related) updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Roberson according to her profile on the Texas DPS website has a pretty lengthy record and she's only 17 she's got a few a arrests but nothing to this level of violence San Antonio is larger than Dallas and is the second largest city in Texas I agree with scumhunter on this crime rates has been down for the first time in a long time despite it being a rather large city has a very relatively low crime rate however when crimes do happen it's pretty notorious and shocking prior to this a good example would be the murder of San Antonio detective Benjamin Marconi who was sitting outside of the San Antonio police headquarters his killer Otis mckane was eventually captured and sentenced to death on a charge of capital murder and sits on death row awaiting execution I only brought that up because this is the same level of depraved barbaric violence roberson performed a very horrendous act the altercation started when Roberson and two other individuals one the suspected getaway driver has since been located and is in custody Roberson shot the manager do to him trying to report the group to law enforcement by taking a photo of the license plate after the a employee who I will not name said in the article it was sparked because Roberson handed the employee who worked the drive thru window Fake money and as he took a photo of the car they were in Roberson got out a shot him directly in the chest and took off after gunning him down she has extensive ties to the city of San Antonio and bexar county suburbs of san Antonio but Roberson is thought to be in Austin or in the suburbs of austin in Travis county texas kyue.com is my source

I want to make sure I clarify on this forum as I am sorry for the poor choice of words but I don’t want to beat this topic to death. Crime is down across all major U.S. cities. Murder is down across all U.S. cities. That does not mean crime and murder no longer exist and I don’t want to turn this into a statistic conversation for every fugitive we post as opposed to talking about the case itself. When I mentioned the statistics it was to encourage us to talk about the cases rather than the cities, not to constantly talk about the cities crime rates and who is worse than who.

I still think this is a very interesting case I mean she's definitely a scary person I mean she has already allegedly ruined her life i say this because she if determined by a judge or jury and how harsh the Texas sentencing laws are do to the law passed by George dubya Bush back when he was governor of Texas back in the 90s he made it more easier for teenagers to be tried as adults theoretically her charges could be upgraded to capital murder but I will not get into that what's important is that she is found before anyone else gets hurt or killed whether it's law enforcement or civilian to the Texas authorities you guys are awesome and thank you for keeping the people of Texas safe Roberson needs to be held accountable and hopefully face justice
