It will be 2 years June 23,2024!! Hello treasa72, My sincerest condolences for the loss of your mother and for the injuries that you also sustained. Aside from co-moderating this website, I also manage the Facebook page known as Fugitive Homicide Warrant Cases. I would like to publicize this case on my page to spread awareness about this manhunt. I will make sure you and your family are talked about in a compassionate and supportive way. Additionally, I do partner with a non-profit organization in Florida known as Project Cold Case. I profile fugitives on their behalf when a case is submitted to them by the family of the victim. Among their services is grief support for families that have lost their loved one to homicide. I will provide a link to their website in case you think that they can help you. I do hope that there is justice and accountability in your mother’s homicide. Derek - projectcoldcase.org/

Another idea is drunk driving groups on Facebook and social media may be a good idea to get in contact and spread the word about the manhunt.

I have submitted James’s case to the Solve The Case website for public awareness. As of today, October 19, 2024, he is still on the Rockford Area Crime Stoppers website as a wanted fugitive. No possible whereabouts have officially been mentioned, although I suspect James may still in the Great Lakes region of the Midwest. www.solvethecase.org/case/2022-33/james-sims

I like this decision headmarshal I agree with you on his possible whereabouts I wouldn't be surprised if he's still in Rockford and if he's still not in the area well Milwaukee and the Chicagoland areas are very close not to mention davenport or the other quad cities or Iowa or Detroit or green bay or madison

Winnebago County’s jail records show that Sims was arrested earlier today! I was informed about this through a PM on Fugitive Homicide Warrant Cases. My thoughts are with Brenda’s family as the case moves to the judicial phase. inmates.winnebagosheriff.com/Details/InmateDetails.aspx
