He may also have dental deficiencies in his front teeth. Remarks: Eaton is likely to travel internationally and maintains websites registered in the Netherlands. Eaton seems to seek out young males who are underage, developmentally disabled, mentally depressed, or economically/socially at risk. TIPS: Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Kent Eaton should call their local FBI field office or embassy or submit a web tip at tips.fbi.govAlleged child predator Kent Douglas Eaton has had a federal warrant out for his arrest since 1988. Below is the FBI website's summary of his alleged crimes: Kent Douglas Eaton is wanted for his alleged involvement in the sexual molestation of a minor and the creation of child pornography. From approximately June of 1985, to September of 1985, Eaton allegedly molested multiple children in Santa Cruz County, California. He allegedly lured young male victims to his residence, performed lewd and lascivious acts with those minors, and photographed minors while they participated in those acts. Eaton was indicted by the Santa Cruz County Municipal Court, County of Santa Cruz, Superior Court of the State of California, on June 22, 1987, on four counts of lewd or lascivious actions with a child, three counts of oral copulation with a child, photographing a minor engaged in sexual conduct, and persuading a minor to model for sexually explicit photographs. Eaton was arrested and on September 17, 1987, while released on bond, pled guilty to charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child, lewd and lascivious acts by force, and photographing a minor engaged in sexual conduct, regarding two victims. On November 10, 1987, Eaton failed to appear for sentencing, and a state arrest warrant was issued the same day. On February 4, 1988, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California issued a federal arrest warrant for Eaton for unlawful flight to avoid confinement. Thoughts? One additional clue is the FBI says Eaton may have suicidal tendencies. But considering in his profile they say he maintains websites in the Netherlands I doubt he killed himself recently. He also has dual United States/Netherlands citizenships. I'm also curious about the fact he was born in Upstate New York and wonder if he spent a decent amount of time there. It sounds like there's a good chance that he's in or has traveled to the Netherlands. I hope the FBI has presented this case to authorities over there. Also the fact that he's known to target among other victims those that are learning disabled and mentally depressed shows how prolific and dangerous Eaton is.

I initially deleted it since I don't want to post info that could tip Eaton off, but then I realized it's already known Eaton has websites registered in the Netherlands, so I don't think this is anything anyone doesn't know already. (If I'm told to take that info down I will).
My apologies for not fully reading first, and thank you again Panamagringo. Really weird how he seems to be hiding in plain sight yet hasn't been extradited.

What is going on with Europe and not wanting to get accused child predators out of their country? First Roger Giese, and now Kent Eaton! Do parents of his students seriously want a fugitive child predator teaching their children?

Kent Eaton apparently from what I've read has dual citizenship in the U.S. and the Netherlands. (What England's excuse is with Roger Giese is another issue). I don't think they would be so kind or at least I'd like to think they wouldn't be so kind to someone who was illegally in their country, but I guess we don't really know.

Europe's justice system is not America's justice system sadly, I live in Europe and I can tell you that for sure. |

Hi, I'm from The Netherlands and just only found out of this today. A Dutch journalist named Hettie Vos tracked this man down after a tip and confronted him at a bus stop in the province of Flevoland. As response to the accusations Eaton said it was all bull and claimed he was innocent. He told the journalist he fled America because he couldn't get a fair trial and told her 'they' knew he was living here since he moved to here in 1987. Not long after he cursed at the journalist and told some harsh things. The Netherlands can't arrest Eaton and extradite him to America as the facts are expired according to the Dutch law. The Netherlands and America have very specific treaties for extradition to America. Prescription plays a major role in this. If he travels abroad he'll have to look up the treaties between that country and America, but in The Netherlands he's 'safe'. According to Dutch media he lives across from a elementary school and still teaches music to kids. Let's hope he won't be that anonymous now his story is out. Hi theflyingdutchman, welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately, the video doesn't work, but this sadly doesn't surprise me and I had already presumed he was safe there, although I didn't know the precise reason, as apparently it means you can allegedly molest children and be rewarded for staying on the run long enough to outlast the charges.
For Mr. Eaton, I'll ask the same question John Walsh asked America's Most Wanted fugitive Ira Einhorn, who fought extradition from France in the 1990's before finally being sent back- if you're innocent, why won't you come back to face justice?
Also as you said, at least it's now out in the open who he is and what he's accused of now.

Did you refreshed the page or closed tabs with other videos like YouTube etc.? Sometimes it gives me the 'sorry, we can't find this video or the video has been removed' but when I refresh the page and close some tabs it works again.
It's indeed hard to comprehend. According to the Dutch lawyer Sharon Haimé a suspect can be charged for 12 more years after a victim/or the youngest victim turns 18. In the Dutch law there's no prescription for sex crimes commited which can be punished with at least 8 years of imprisoning, but I guess because the crimes are commited abroad it's different. Very sour..

I don't know how much it could help but perhaps the citizens could protest, circle petitions etc... but unfortunately that probably doesn't supersede existing laws.
Please do let us know if there are any updates though.

I feel like it would only take a miracle like what happened with Roger Giese, which means he would have to get arrested and since it is alleged that he lives near a school, which means he’s likely to reoffend or has already reoffended. I would argue for Kent Eaton to be added to the Top Ten List, but I’m not sure if it’ll put pressure on Dutch authorities or they probably won’t extradite him either.
Honestly this case is very difficult since we know he’s somewhere in the Netherlands.
