If you are a fan of AMW/The Hunt and went to look at the Scottsdale Most Wanted page, you'd see some familiar faces on that list, including FBI Top Tenner Robert William Fisher and cold case fugitive Gloria Schulze. Michael Robert Wiseman is also a fugitive on that list. And among them, he is the only Scottsdale Most Wanted fugitive to have the unique distinction of having actually been on the list twice.
In February 2008, Wiseman was arrested for 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. In November 2008, Wiseman cut off his ankle monitoring device and fled the country. Further investigation determined Wiseman traveled from Juarez, Mexico to Paris, France in November 2008.
In early 2009 a Google search by an employer in Spain found Wiseman's profile on the Scottsdale Most Wanted page which led to his arrest later that year and eventual extradition back to the United States. At the time of the arrest, the FBI special agent in charge of the case stated that the arrest "takes another child predator off the streets in order to protect our children."
However, the good feelings would be short lived. Wiseman was convicted, and although I'm not sure of what the sentence was, what I do know is Wiseman is supposed to be registered sex offender. However, on April 1, 2013, Wiseman absconded again. And he is now once again listed as one of Scottsdale's Most Wanted.
Wiseman has been employed as a private pilot and will probably seek out jobs in the aviation industry. Wiseman considers himself a US and Polish citizen and may have fled the country again.
