Thompson multiple tattoos, including the name "Edward" on her right forearm, the name "Dayshaun" on her left wrist, the names "David" and "Armstrong" on her thigh, letters or a face on the right side of her neck, and other tattoos. Her nose, tongue and ears are pierced. She may use the last name Gibson.

Details of Disappearance
Thompson was last seen in the 20900 block of 83rd Street in California City, California at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2012. She disappeared after a domestic violence incident with her estranged husband, Edward "Face" Gibson III, where he showed up at her door and pointed a shotgun at her. She was last seen several hours after that incident. She has never been heard from again and neight has Gibson.
A photo of Gibson is posted with this case summary. He is wanted on charges of brandishing a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm, violating a court order, burglary and domestic violence. His date of birth is July 26, 1968, making him 43 years old at the time of Desiree's disappearance. He's described as African-American, 6'3 tall and 197 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Because of the circumstances of Thompson's disappearance, and because she was a prior victim of domestic violence, she's considered missing under suspicious circumstances and possibly in danger. Her case remains unsolved.
