From theledger.com:
POLK CITY – The Polk County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 39-year-old man suspected of killing and burying of an elderly Polk City woman.
The PCSO said Friday that Aroldo Enrique Paz, 39, is wanted on charges of first-degree murder, grand theft and tampering with evidence. He is thought to be driving a 1999 beige Toyota Camry with Texas license plate PTC9735.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said 74-year-old Perfecta Paz of Polk City was reported missing Wednesday by her sister, who lived with her and said said she hadn't seen Perfecta Paz since 5:30 a.m. Tuesday before work. The Sheriff’s Office said cash that Paz normally kept in her home was also missing.
Judd said Aroldo Paz had been living with the women for about seven months because he was injured doing construction work in Texas. Perfecta Paz invited Aroldo to stay because she was his aunt and she had adopted him an infant because his biological mother died, Judd said.
Judd said that Perfecta's sister came home Tuesday and Aroldo was working in the yard. She asked Aroldo about her whereabouts. The sheriff said Aroldo told her Perfecta had too much pride and left, which wasn’t suspicious to the sister because Perfecta had been talking about getting a place of her own.
On Wednesday, before leaving for work, Judd said Perfecta's sister checked her room and didn't see her. When she got home from work that Wednesday about 5 p.m., Aroldo wasn't at the home either and all of his belongings were missing, according to Judd. The sister called 911 at 5:47 p.m. and the Sheriff’s Office immediately began a search.
“We’re on the side of the road because with the initial information that we received, we believe that maybe she’s wandered off,” Judd said. “So, we search the woods.”
Judd said the Sheriff’s Office tried to contact Aroldo on his cellphone and he didn’t answer.
On Thursday, Judd said an agricultural detective decided to walk the fence line of the property that Judd said is about one and a half acres looking for a break in the fence.
That's when the detective stepped into a soft area that he found suspicious. After digging a pilot hole, Judd said the deputy pulled out a woman’s slipper that matched the description of the shoes Perfecta was last seen wearing.
According to Judd, Perfecta was buried about a foot and a half under the dirt.
“Our detectives worked through the night last night unearthing Perfecta,” Judd said. “Who was deceased. She died a violent death.”
About two months ago, Judd said Aroldo and Perfecta got into an altercation over money and witnesses said he pulled a gun on her before the situation calmed down and they remained living together.
“We also have evidence and information that [the vehicle he’s supposed to be in] was recently seen in Texas, in the great Houston area,” Judd said. “So, he’s back in the area that he fled from.”
Judd said the Sheriff's Office will not release details on how Perfecta was killed.
Anyone with information on Aroldo Paz’s whereabouts who wants to remain anonymous and be considered for a cash reward can contact Heartland Crime Stoppers at 800-226-8477.

Thoughts? Even though I currently can't find Paz in Florida's warrants search website, I am reasonably assuming he is still at large as of today's posting date (October 17th, 2021) since the above article is from only two days ago with no updates about a capture that I could find online since.
And yeah I think the phrase "no good deed goes unpunished" applies in this case. Aroldo's biological mother dies, Perfecta takes him in and provides a home and care for his childhood and his thanks as an adult is allegedly being too injured to work but after arguing about money and being denied, magically being strong enough to allegedly brutally murder his adoptive mother and then flee to Texas.
This guy in my opinion can go to hell. But let's hope Paz can at least get caught and go to jail first.
