From ABC 57 Indianapolis (abc57.com):
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – After an autopsy was complete of a woman who died of gunshot wounds, the Elkhart County Prosecutors Office issued a warrant to the husband of the victim.
The Prosecutor’s Office has served a warrant to Arnulfo Alanis Perez, a 45-year-old man of Elkhart, after they conducted interviews, and a probable cause was determined.
Elkhart Police were dispatched to the 500 block of West Blaine Street for a welfare check on Sunday. When they arrived, they found Christina Pina, a 49-year-old woman of Elkhart, deceased with gunshot wounds.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit took over the scene.
On Tuesday, an autopsy was performed and determined that Pina died of gunshot wounds. After, a warrant was served to Perez.

Thoughts? As far as I can tell, Alanis-Perez is still at large as of today's posting date (September 12th, 2021), since the above article is from only two days ago. I can't find the case against Alanis-Perez in Indiana Odyssey records and he's not listed on the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office's Most Wanted page just yet but in assuming that's because his warrant was just issued. I'll continue to monitor for updates and any reader updates are appreciated as well.
