(WTVA) - Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson released more information on Monday about the shooting death of a man in the Richmond community. The incident happened Saturday night at a house; the sheriff did not identify the address. Deputies found the victim. Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified the victim as Randy Benson, 59. Benson had been shot multiple times. Investigators are searching for the murder suspect, 54-year-old Bradley King of Nettleton. He’s considered to be armed and dangerous. Benson and King knew one another. It appeared a fight inside the house led to the shooting, according to investigators, and the shooter fled. Investigators believe he fled in a small, gray, newer model SUV with an unknown driver. The sheriff said the shooting was an isolated incident. The Lee County Sheriff’s Department called the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department because of King’s connections and prior history in Monroe County. Anyone who sees King should not approach him but call the Lee County Sheriff’s Department at 662-432-2623 or call 911.
Anyone with information about the incident should call the sheriff’s department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-8477.www.wtva.com/content/news/Lee-County-sheriff-releases-more-information-about-Richmond-homicide-574926961.htmlThoughts?
