JACKSON, Miss. —
A woman and toddler who went missing after a homicide in Jackson are safe, authorities said.
Tamora Sims and the child came to the Holmes County Sheriff's Department about 8 p.m. Thursday in a white Dodge Challenger that police said belonged to her ex-boyfriend and murder suspect Jocquize Williams, 22. Tamora Sims and the child, Amarion Sims, are OK, according to Holmes County Sheriff Willie March.
Police continue to search for Williams, who was not with Sims, March said.
The incident began about 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Edgewood Terrace Apartments in Jackson. Police said Williams and Anthony Lindsey, 24, got into an argument over Sims, who was Lindsey's current girlfriend and Williams' ex-girlfriend.
Police said Williams is accused of shooting and killing Lindsey.
Sims was questioned by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, March said. The child is with a grandmother, the sheriff said.
Anyone with information about Williams' whereabouts is asked to call Jackson police or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477).

Thoughts? I am reasonably assuming Williams is still at large as of today's posting date (June 13th, 2021), since the above article is relatively recent, just about a week and a half ago, with no updates about an arrest that I could find online since. Of course, as always, if his wanted status has changed and/or changes in the future, anyone is more than welcome to let us know.
Also it is usually site policy to not mention the names of missing children once they're recovered however it is unfortunately unavoidable here since all the local media articles mention his name along with this being an ongoing manhunt.
