(CBS4) – Police in Littleton have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of assaulting and carjacking a woman inside a carwash. Phillip Michael Dent, 51, is about 5’09, 165 lbs. with short brown hair and green eyes. Investigators say Dent walked up to the woman’s car inside the car wash, opened the driver’s side door and pulled her out. The attack was captured on surveillance video at the Atlantis Car Wash on South Federal Circle. Police said the woman tried to fight off the man but he ultimately grabbed her neck and bit her before pulling her to the ground and getting inside the van. The driver is 63 years old and police said she was not seriously injured. The stolen vehicle is a 2011 grey Toyota Sienna with South Dakota license plates. It also has a “Practice Aloha” sticker on the back. Investigators say Dent is transient and may be in the Littleton or Lakewood area. As far as I can tell, Dent is still at large as of today's posting date (February 7th, 2021) since the aboclve article is from only a few days ago with no updates about a capture that I could find online since. This Creep is likely to be caught soon due of his airing of the new AMW, I think someone will spotted him and contacted the police, and then they caught this creep by the tips of the show and due of his airing of America's Most Wanted.

Facebook or Twitter probably. Let's just be happy Dent is caught. One thing I want to nip in the bud before it becomes an issue is on the old AMW forums and here sometimes there'd be negative reactions if a fugitive wasn't a direct capture like "darn sucks he's indirect" when the reaction should be joy a dangerous alleged scumbag is off the streets no matter how they're caught. If it is a direct capture all it does it make it even sweeter.  |

I’m glad he’s been captured regardless if he’s a direct or indirect capture. The most important thing is someone dangerous, who could’ve escalated to more has been apprehended.
Also this reminds me of Myloh Mason, wanted for a very violent crime out of Colorado and apprehended in a motel in the same state.

As mentioned by the posters above, the fact that Phillip Dent is in custody is the most important thing. If he was caught off of AMW 2.0, then that's even more wonderful.
I'm surprised the AMW 2.0 FB page hasn't mentioned this today, although maybe they're waiting for a FOX press release or something.

I assume worst case scenario we'll find out on Monday if they increase the capture counter to 1187 (even though it should be 1205 lol)

AMW did not take credit for Dent tonight and still had their capture counter at 1186 (even though it should be 1204), so looks like it is officially an indirect capture but once again let's just be happy he was caught.

Thank you for this! AMW On Fox's FB page just confirmed this as well. Not sure why it took this long if the episodes are supposedly being filmed live (based on the on-air twitter post mentions). Most important, this shows that the revival was worth it and that this process still works! |
