Hello fellow fugitive sleuths! A few years ago we started a "AMW Fans Dirty Dozen" list which reflected a collection of the fugitives our forum members wanted to see caught the most. We had a preparation/request thread but I decided to make a new one since I felt that thread was getting old. Basically whenever a fugitive from our list hopefully gets captured me and/or HeadMarshal will try our best to replace him/her with someone that a forum member had previously nominated. I cannot guarantee your case will be picked but will try my best to get everyone a fair share. However, there will be four main factors when deciding on who should be replaced.
1. Type of crime- Let's say for example, Rick McLean thankfully finally gets captured. Since he was an alleged child molester, I'd prefer to replace him with another alleged child molester. If Alfonso-Diaz Juarez gets captured, I'd prefer to replace him with another sex trafficker (not as many to pick from at the moment, so we can have leeway and put a different kind of sex crime fugitive to replace him but I'm sure you get the general point). So for example, if you didn't get representation on the list yet, but don't have an alleged child molester on your list if McLean ever finally gets captured, I unfortunately would have to possibly skip your choices once again.
2. TV or exclusive fugitive- I'd prefer if possible to replace an AMW/Hunt/In Pursuit case with an AMW/Hunt/In Pursuit case, an exclusive fugitive case with an exclusive fugitive case etc... (this seems pretty straightforward)
3. Diversity. I'm sorry if this sounds too politically correct but I don't want the list to get inundated with 12 Hispanic guys, 12 black guys, etc... I'd prefer to replace a white fugitive with a white fugitive, a Hispanic fugitive with a Hispanic fugitive, a black fugitive with a black fugitive etc.. A list with all of the same guy is not good optics for the outside reader who could theoretically accuse us of racism and putting political correctness aside, a more diverse list makes the fugitives on it stand out more.
4. Current vs. Cold Cases- While I can make an exception to replace a cold case with a cold case, I'd prefer to skew more recent with the dirty dozen (2010-present at the time of this thread) since those cases have a better chance at capture.
Also, currently our Public Enemy #1 is Miguel Loza. If he ever thankfully finally gets captured, I would probably just do a voting poll of the remaining at large fugitives as to who would take the public enemy slot, while someone else would take the general Loza slot.
I hope that wasn't too confusing but yeah please post as many names as you'd like to nominate below, preferably in order of who you want caught the most and we'll go from there.
