Ira Einhorn, known as "The Unicorn Killer", was an convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend, Holly Maddux. On September 9, 1977, Maddux disappeared following a trip to collect her belongings from the apartment she and Einhorn had shared in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Eighteen months later, police found her partially mummified body in a trunk in Einhorn's closet, After his arrest, Einhorn fled the country and spent twenty-three years in Europe before being extradited to the US. He took the stand in his own defense, claiming his ex-girlfriend had been killed by CIA agents who framed him for the crime because he knew too much about the agency's paranormal military research. He was convicted and served a Life Sentence, has died today at the age of 79.

I remember him. I wasn't watching AMW back then just then yet but I do remember that little flashback back when AMW was on. It was the clip where it said underneath the clip "International Manhunt" Location: Bordeaux, France.
Einhorn is the guy who got into kind of a little bit of a shoving match with JW.
JW: If you're innocent!....... Einhorn: Don't touch me!!!!!!! JW: Why are you such a coward that you can't go back to face justice?!!!!!!!

I think it might have been one of Einhorn's lawyers that said don't touch me while Einhorn had a smart-a** smirk, regardless it was one of the most memorable moments in AMW history.

That guy in the olive green detective styled turn coat, I though that was Eihorn and that the guy with the grin on his face was the dad of the girl he murdered back in Philly back in '77. Cause the guy (in the blue shirt) didn't seem to had been wearing it in cuffs and he was walking hand in hand with some old lady who I thought was the girl's grandmother or normal maternal mother.

I dunno I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since I can't recall entirely (not to call him out but I know Pakman for sure can clarify if he sees this ). Regardless it was an awesome moment when J.W. called out that scumbag.

What frustrated me about his case that so many his circle and high society were willing to support and even cover for him and helping him escape justice for so long despite being guilty with his pants down. Shows how many can corrupt in our society. What further frustrated me was the lack of an extradition treaty with Ireland and France's frankly backwards way of extradition further complicating everything.

Ira Einhorn is a con man and a liar to these people and they supported him and his lies, and help him escape justice.

That was one of the worst parts of this whole thing for me. Holly didn't exist as far as any of these people were concerned which says just as much about them and their value on human life. They were no better then Ira was.

Does anyone remember NBC's Mini-Series of Ira Einhorn and Holly Maddox in 1999?
