Photo Credits: Project Cold Case Location Of Crime: Colorado Springs, Colorado Date Of Crime: June 15, 2005 ---- In the early morning hours of June 15, 2005, officers found the body of 22-year old Joshua Delaney in his vehicle. The location was the 4500 block of London Lane. The cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. Just prior to the shooting, Joshua had been at the Platinum 25 nightclub. It is believed that while he was there, he was involved in some type of altercation. Before Joshua was shot, his vehicle had been seen on London Lane next to a small dark coloured car. The shooter may have been an occupant of that second car. At time of the murder, Joshua was scheduled to be engaged, and left behind a daughter who was only four years of age. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000 if you have any information on Joshua Delaney's unsolved murder.

Project Cold Case did an interview with Joshua's mother to update their spotlight page regarding Joshua's case.
Apparently the suspect in Joshua's murder was actually arrested for two other homicides. As a result, the suspect was sentenced to 33 years. The DA never tried the suspect in connection with Joshua's case, based on not believing the testimony of the witnesses. Perhaps that may have led to the other two murders being committed.
