On March 15, 2020, at approximately 1:22 a.m., Kirksville police were dispatched to the area of Cottonwood and Mulanix streets for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived in the area, they learned that shots had been fired at a residence in the 300 block of East Hickory Street.
Officers talked to a resident of the home and were informed a man identified as Bradley Eugene Chapman, 39, had fired a pistol at another person who had just arrived at the residence.
