WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - As a part of WUSA9's effort to help find missing children, we'll be airing a special across our all platforms -- television, website and Facebook -- on May 10 at 7 p.m. to help Bring Our Kids Home. A month-long kickoff began on April 24 and will end on May 25, National Missing Children's Day. Anchor Lesli Foster will host the special alongside John Walsh, known from America's Most Wanted and Justice Network and his son, Callahan Walsh, who now both work extensively with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). www.wusa9.com/news/local/outreach/bring-them-home/help-us-bring-our-kids-home/436907941

This is very exciting news, of course! My only hope is FilmRise does the same for AMW soon.
OK, I have many other hopes, but that would be awesome.

Just went to the Justice Network website. Looks like pretty standard fare. Lock Down, Most Shocking, Crime Stories, Solved, Panic 911, Manhunters, Psychic Detectives, Cold Case Files, Alaska State Troopers, Body of Evidence with Dayle Hinman, The New Detectives, etc. A lot of shows from ID or A&E. Dominick Dunne and Murder by the Book, which have aired on HLN.
The channel's lineup does seem to be more about cases and forensics, which is refreshing, as Investigation Discovery more and more has been broadcasting shows featuring hosts like Jerry Springer and Susan Lucci. I would watch Justice Network if I could, but don't get it either. But there aren't really any 'new' shows and no John Walsh projects that I can tell.

Nope - lowering pitch of audio doesn't help, flipping horizontally doesn't help, making it 25% of screen doesn't help.

I don't blame them, I have a whole bunch of UM and its amazing to have those thanks to people who transferred their VHS to DVD. Not the best quality but still. It upsets me though that there are missing cases or unsolved murders, wanted fugitives, and Fox cares more about their licenses than to let people upload cases that could be solved via a viewer/exposure.

The reason you can't find more on YouTube is because Fox automatically makes a copyright strike on any videos. Even though there are no DVDs of AMW available and they aren't doing anything with the videos themselves.

Lol. Eventually we will have a capture as a result of the site, it may be an hour from now, a day from now, a month from now or a year from now, you'll never know, but what I do know is we'll still post here day after day trying to put some of these fugitives out there and get them caught, spread the word out about missing persons to bring closure and other unsolved cases to bring justice to the families of the victims. I did this once with UM on YouTube, trying to post some Wanted people or Missing cases that were still unsolved, unfortunately it got taken down. But I do post on Websleuths in hopes someone will get more information or be interested in researching.

I actually just watched a case on Crime Watch Daily's website. They are still doing regular cases, and unsolved ones too. But they have a lot of other stuff you have to wade through.
As to South Park, while I hate that they cut the seasons down and there's such a long wait, the past two seasons have been excellent in my opinion. It's definitely changed from what it started out as, each new episode references something that happened in previous episodes.

Unrelated but this scumbag Kevin is the same reason why Major Crimes (fictional TV show) is not renewed yet and possibly facing cancellation. Beginning to dislike him more and more.

I don't know the answer to your post, but I'd be willing to do some "sleuthing" if you can remember what the address you lived in was back in the 60s (and do some guessing as to what the address would be for next door). No promises, of course, I only have the tools of the Net like everyone else here and may come up empty handed. I searched for "Venus" so far and nothing. You can PM if you'd like.

I tried watching it - I'm not as big of a fan of this style of production (it reminds me of Joe Kenda's show). But if it helps solve cases....Obviously the ratings weren't good enough for Lifetime/Fox with the old style. I don't get it.
