This case happened during the oil boom of the 80s in North Dakota, that I think someone who only worked in ND was responsible, even now with the current oil boom, a lot of stuff goes wrong especially when you mix alcohol and North Dakota being a sparsely populated place.
Sometimes there are suspects based on circumstances, but then there’s times where someone just trashed beyond belief could have been responsible in whatever happened to Barbara Cotton.

Based on circumstance, and that it’s not one case that Victor Wonyetye is tied to but 2 cases in similar fashion leads me to believe he was responsible.

It appears the FBI may have flat out declined to add Obas after all. Is there a change on their site indicating this? Don’t really want to reveal too much information regarding it at this time.

Reading this, I tend to agree with her cousin that she didn’t leave on her own accord. Someone with the health issues Bell doesn’t make someone disappear, someone had very malicious intentions.

He likely could’ve been taken by the Iranian backed militias and is being held captive by them? That’s the only thing I could think of.

I’m all for this guy spending the rest of his life contemplating what he did.

In the woods of northern Maine I sadly think it may be a repeat of Eugene Palmer and that one guy that was found in the desert years after he murdered a cop.

I think going forward we should keep a very sharp eye for any developments regarding this particular individual, he’s shown himself to be a true menace to the public.

I bet this is going to be used as evidence in court that it was premeditated, hope they get him soon, because that’s just messed up what he did.

Northern Maine is literally one of the two most genuinely isolated parts east of the Mississippi River, the other being the Everglades in Florida…. Kentucky, Tennessee or the Deep South don’t count in that category.
A manhunt in extreme northern Maine will likely take awhile especially if he fled or killed himself north of Baxter State Park

Vitel’Homme Innocent has now been charged by the United States Department of Justice for a separate incident in October 2022, in which he ordered the armed kidnapping of 2 U.S. Citizens and resulted in the death of 1. www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/haitian-gang-leader-charged-hostage-taking-offenses-resulted-death-us-citizen-haitiHis FBI poster has been edited to reflect the new charges “Vitel'Homme Innocent, as leader of the gang Kraze Barye, allegedly worked together with the gang 400 Mawozo, in the October 2021, kidnapping of 17 Christian Missionaries in Haiti, including five children, one as young as 8 months old. Additionally, under the direction of Innocent, it is alleged that in October 2022, the Kraze Barye gang kidnapped a United States citizen in Haiti and killed a second United States citizen during the kidnapping attempt. I guess it depends on when the letter was found but my feeling is it might not have even been a red herring but someone upset about Waco or something using the situation to take advantage for free publicity for their cause. I mean ISIS claimed responsibility for the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting when right now there's nothing to suggest Stephen Paddock had any connection or even inspiration whatsoever. So my feeling is that letter is a fraud one way or the other though. For all we know it could have been some random person who knew about trains, never worked on them or was never upset about Waco, but just wanted to cause mayhem because the individual was likely very disturbed.

That vehicle definitely stands out as it looks like a 90s Toyota Corolla/Geo Prism (identical twin vehicles), however it’s likely a Corolla as the Geos were never station wagons. Also if this crime would’ve happened in 2005 or 2008, the vehicle wouldn’t really have stood out, but it’s 2023 and those cars as station wagons are getting hard to find, (tried to find one for sale nationwide and none came up) basically making it standout.

Could be multiple reasons why the FBI is delaying to add him or simply declined to add him. Around the time the images on the feeds page disappeared, apparently something happened in Haiti, which U.S. Embassy personnel was ordered to depart as the situation there began to decline and then a few weeks later, a shooting near the Embassy compound. that perhaps the FBI declined to add him as they felt he was in Haiti, coordinating a capture would be difficult, and a potential tipster could’ve been put in danger given the delicate security situation. www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/haiti-us-embassy-closed-violence-gunfire-gangs-haitians-march-demand-security/travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/Intercountry-Adoption-News/ordered-departure-for-personnel-of-u-s--embassy-port-au-prince.htmlIt could also be that the FBI wants to wait for another capture, focus resources on the current 9 still at large, and/or Obas’ addition was delayed as he could potentially be aired on a crime show scheduled for later this year or early next year. Last thing I’ll say is that since the FBI hasn’t come up with anyone else with an FBI Top Ten placeholder URL since Obas this past summer, it indicates they’re still adding him.
