July 19, 1991 Mary Jane LeFlore was her name. Very loving, caring an adored mother of her young two sons. At the age of 33, she was employed with the Texas Department of Corrections as a Sociologist at the Huntsville Goree Unit. Mary Jane supposedly left from work that day (hr unknown to myself) an headed to the West Hill Mall on Hwy 30 just before she were to pick up her two boys for a trip to the Soda Fountain. According to her eldest son Marcus who was at the time 12 years of age, stated his Mom sounded fine when he'd spoken with her. According to her (at the time) husband, Larry LeFlore, she stated to him that she was having a "Meeting" (?) at the mall; not disclosing the individual (s) she'd be meeting with or purpose of the meeting (to my knowledge). Larry stated to investigators that worried, he went to the mall around 9:45 that evening, to check on his wife. Upon his arrival to the mall, he noticed his wife sitting in a car similar to a Thunderbird (drivers identity unknown). Larry told the investigators that his wife an a unknown male fled from the mall, jumping onto I-45 S, heading to New Waverly. Larry said that he followed an then exited off of the freeway near Possum Walk Rd/FMRD 1374, which is barely a mile down the highway; in fear that his then wife, was having an affair. Those who knew Mary Jane said that she loved her boys an would never abandon them. July 21, 1991 Fearing the worse, Larry went down an filed a missing person report on his then wife. Though he was a suspect, no leads surfaced, pointing the finger directly at Larry. Soon after, he received an insurance check for an undisclosed amount. Within the year, Larry seeked an was granted a divorce from his, still missing wife. Almost two years later, February 09, 1993 the decomposing scattered remains surfaced in a field out on Hwy 30 near FMRD 3179 approximately 10 miles west of the West Hill Mall that Mary Jane was last sighted at by her then husband, Larry. Her remains were discovered by a guy (unknown) name, who proclaimed he had stumbled upon the remains while exploring the land that he had intended on purchasing. However, the owners of the property stated that there was never any indication of selling of the property. I've yet to learn HOW Mary Jane was murdered. Her case is cold yet every now in again dectectives will take a look at it, yelling to no new leads. I WANT JUSTICE FOR MARY JANE!!! Mary Jane lived in Huntsville, Tx an was supposedly at the West Hill Mall out on HWY 30 West. Her husband stated he saw her going down Interstate HWY 45 headed South towards New Waverly; fearing she was cheating, he turned around an did not pursue the vehicle any longer. Yet, 1 year 6 months an several days later, her decomposing body was found scattered throughout a filed out on HWY 30 West, just miles from where her husband proclaimed she had a meeting. I will not stop until her killer is sought out, captured an brought to justice!! #Justice4MaryJane #WhoKilledMaryJane I am most thrilled to say that all of my hard work an dedication to seeking justice for Mrs.Mary Jane, has paid off. I wrote an posted my story to several differnt sites, "Cold Justice" being one of them, an someone finally paid attention to what I was really trying to say. To all of the investigators that read my story, an those that reopened the case an did not give up, "I thank you from the bottom of my heart an the depths of my soul. You are all so amazing"!

If Dan Heirs is NOT the murderer, why is he alluding authority? Did he flee because of the molestation charges? Did he flee before his wife's murder? Scratches an defensive marks... Those could've come from her attempts in defending herself from her husband. Why did he not stand up an fight for justice inbehalf of his wife's vicious an callous murder? Why did neighbors report him walking in an out of the home on the day of her murder? If she was murdered between the A.M. hours an Noon, what time did the neighbors notice Dan's in an out activity? Was there any surveillance cameras in the hospital parking lot that would've captured footage of the last person to drive an park her Aveo at the hospital?

This story is so shocking... The system fails us, yet again. Question... What in the what is an INMATE doing at a Wal-Mart? Prerelease facility on a 24 year sentence; say what?!?!! I understand his frustration of someone stealing from him. Though his reaction wasn't justifiable at all. He should've simply allowed the laws to take care of it. He simply walked away? No one saw him? When did the staff notice him missing... Or, how long had he been missing before they noticed? Sounds kinda like a set up, if you ask me... How do you loose an inmate? Wasn't he supposed to be in cuffs an possibly shackles? Wal-Mart surveillance cameras... Did they not capture any of his movement from inside the store to outside the store? Did they catch him getting in the car with someone? Did he simply just walk away? Where were the guards that were supposed to be supervising him when he, "simply walked away"? Are they still employed? I sure as heck hope not! The facility that he was housing at should be at fault as well; allowing this "Trip" to Wal-Mart to even take place. The warden, major, captain, lieutenant, sergeant an on down, should all be reevaluated!! He could've went on a rampage an killed everyone in the city, cause they were simply being careless.

Your statements are so very true! (My opinion is)... He fled near the time of his trial because he didn't want to face the consequences of his actions... He was not a bad nor dangerous person in anyway while he was sober. He didn't really do PCP, but the guys that were with him, did all the time... (Check their records an compare them to his, prior to this tragic incident). Since he's been on the run for so long, once the day does come when law enforcement tracks him down, he just may become violent; knowing that he has really messed up now, by running an for so long. Full of drugs; it wouldn't surprise me if (S) wasn't the one to cohurse him into committing this horrific crime. I know one day, not too long after all this took place, I had (S) with me. I was a block away from turning to Glens road. First thing (S) says was, "let me out right here an come back an get me. I can't be around him". Made me wonder... But I didn't question him, I just complied.

Glen being captured will give us all a sense of relief. It is necessary for the victims family. They've suffered for far too long. As for his immediate family; Mom, Dad an sisters, I'm sure they will be upset at me for speaking out. I know they are hurting, but so is the victims family. For our community, classmates an fellow Huntsvillians, good or bad, we'd all love to see him again; to know that he's well an okay, even if it's in a prison cell. I'm still stuck on how he's been able to alluded law enforcement for all these years... It makes me wonder... Is there a group of detectives on this case 24/7 none stop... Has they put the files in a folder an locked them away until a new detective comes in some 20 years from now, an decide to reexamine all evidence... I'm sorry, but you just can not make me believe that his Mom doesn't know his whereabouts...

Thank you! I just know that we've all made mistakes; some worse then others. One bad mistake doesn't make us a bad person. It's when you continuously make the same 'mistakes'. My heart goes out to the victims family. 9 yrs 5 months an NO justice for them. Though Glen is my family, I know it is very hard for them, knowing that their family member killer is still on the loose. After all these years the question, "why" still floats around in my head. Of all the reasons to be baffled, I believe that I am most baffled that he's been able to go under the radar for so long. Are there law enforcement REALLY out there, looking for him? I doubt that he's resurfaced in another country... Or has he? This all just seems too unreal. How an why would they set him a bond if he had already alluded the laws after the crime took place? Remember, he did have a high speed chase with the laws, just after the murder an armed robbery of Taco Cabana. He took the laws on a high speed chase, wrecked out, ditched the car an took out on foot. Had he not had people in the car with him, he may have never been caught. An to be honest, knowing the guys that were with him; I would've expected something like this from one of the other guys, before Glen.

Glen is not the person portrayed in these stories. He was a young man that made a mistake. We were all at total disbelief when this incident occurred. Our hearts an prayers an condolences went out to both victims. Tragic that one's life was taken. However, Glen is not dangerous nor is he a callous murderer. His only mistake was being introduced to the drug, PCP. I'm sure as we all do, he wish that he could rewind the hands of time. Though we all know that is impossible. He has committed a crime anhe must do his time. We all understand that as well. I believe he's on the run because he does not want to face the consequences of what happened that night; knowing that that was not the same person that night that he always is. I personally point the finger at the LAW!! Why would you allow a murderer that you know is a murderer, out on bond??? That is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard!! (I've killed someone, an yet you let me back out into the world to commit even more crimes an possibly allude authorities for an eternity; never to be captured.) Come on people, let's get it together!! Any who, regardless of the circumstances Glen is NOT a dangerous person. He don't walk around gang banging, packing AK's an . He was a small time petty hustler that distributed marijuana throughout the community, who made one dumb decision that took a life an destroyed many others including his own. If there's anyone to blame for him alluding the laws all these years, it is the LAW!! Shouldn't have let him bond out... As well as a whole bunch of others that has made bond an went out an committed more crimes. If I were the family of the victim, someone would have a law suit against them...

Admin note: If you have any information on this case call Montgomery Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-(STOP)7867 or submit a web tip by clicking on this link: www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=286Glen Holmes Jr. was John Walsh's #10 Most Wanted fugitive of 2009. Police say on May 1, 2006, he carjacked 32-year old Conroe, Texas resident Barry Thomas, and then shot and killed him. In his AMW re-enactment, he proceeded to hold up a fast food taco drive-thru and ordered tacos right after the murder. This is a case that REALLY pissed me off when I saw it on AMW. I say it all the time, there is never a murder that is "necessary" but I hate ones like this that never had to come to this. Holmes had already carjacked Thomas. Thomas complied and gave him the car when the gun was pointed. What was the need for allegedly shooting him afterwards as well? And the robbing a taco place afterwards was bizarre and callous at the same time. This is obviously a guy that is dangerous and based on what police say has no regard for human life. Not to mention, quite frankly, I am shocked he hasn't been caught yet. He seemed like he'd be one of the easier top tenners to catch for 2009. His AMW area lists him as possibly in the Huntsville or Houston areas of Texas, or New Orleans. IMO, it's just a matter of time before police finally reel him in. www.amw.com/fugitives/brief.cfm?id=60000www.yourhoustonnews.com/courier/news/murder-suspect-to-be-featured-on-most-wanted/article_ebeb4fb9-2bfa-5878-832a-6244a0ac077b.htmlAdmin Note: If you have any updated information on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form
