From ifiberone.com:
ELLENSBURG - Kittitas County Sheriff’s officials say a woman wanted for controlled substance homicide is on the run and they need your help finding her.
Kittitas County Corporal Nate Foster says 27-year-old Arielle Dwyer of Ellensburg is wanted after failing to show up for court. Foster says the woman has been at-large since Oct. 15.
Sheriff’s officials report that Dwyer’s charge stems from an incident that happened in Cle Elum on July 21, 2017. Foster says Dwyer allegedly supplied heroin to a 29-year-old man who died after taking the drug.
If you think you saw Dwyer, call KCSO at 509-925-8534.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (November 3rd, 2019), Dwyer is still on the Kittias County Sheriff's Office website as a wanted fugitive:

Also, whenever there is a case like this, there is inevitably a comment, and it happened again in the above article, where people say that this is individual responsibility and not a crime. However, individual responsibility applies to Dwyer's actions here as well. She is the one who allegedly gave the man a potentially deadly illegal drug, which would make her legally responsible for his death. Even a recovered addict replied to state this and that Dwyer getting captured is good for her own sake as well since she can detox and get help while in jail.
I have often stated here addicts need to be helped and not punished, but Dwyer still needs to be responsible for her own personal alleged actions as well, and the more she stays on the run rather than turning herself in and appealing for help, imo the less sympathy there will be for her if convicted.
