(Above photo credit: Anchorage Crime Stoppers) From Justice for Native Women: Teresa was 30 years old when tourists in Earthquake Park near Anchorage, Alaska, discovered her body in a heavily wooded ravine off of the park's main parking lot on June 30th, 1992. Only mud-soaked socks were found on her body. The bruises on her body indicated that her assailant used blunt force to kill her. She was last seen alive near Spenard, Alaska on June 29th of 1992. Spenard is considered a dangerous area and other women have been raped or murdered in its vicinity. Teresa's murder remains unsolved.
