Matthew Dillon Jones was profiled on the "Wanted" segment of the August 9th, 2019 episode of Live PD.
On May 22nd, 2019, 24-year-old Kenee Griffing was found dead inside a home in Amarillo, Texas. Investigators believe she was murdered by Jones, who remained at large at least as of the aforementioned Live PD airing date.
Corporal Jeb Hilton of the Amarillo Police Department says Jones was possibly spotted earlier in the week. A burglary occurred just outside of Amarillo and Cpl. Hilton says he has good evidence Jones is a suspect in that case. There were several firearms taken during the burglary and Cpl. Hilton believes Jones will still be in the area and will be armed and extremely dangerous.
Jones had two prior warrants for robbery and theft of a firearm.
Oddly, there is no known connection between Jones and Kenee. Even Kenee's family does not who Jones is and had never heard his name before he allegedly killer her.

Thoughts? Obviously, there must be evidence indicating Jones as the suspect in Kenee's case, but this is a strange case in that no one who knew Kenee seemed to be familiar with him. So we won't know what the connection is or whether this was a random act of violence allegedly committed by Jones until he's caught.
Even besides being wanted for murder, Jones was already wanted for two serious crimes so this is a very dangerous alleged suspect that needs to be caught. The good news is he at the moment at least believed to still be in the Amarillo area, which should hopefully narrow down the search.
