From CBS Austin:
David Wayne Vance, 37, is wanted on two warrants for failure to appear and aggravated robbery. The robbery charge stems from a violent incident last December off FM 969 in East Austin.
"They're accused of shooting two victims. One victim was shot and was also tied with zip ties, another victim was tied with duct tape," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla.
Vance and the other man are also accused of hitting one of the victims with a sledgehammer and stealing $800 in cash. U.S. Marshals say this type of violence is a part of Vance's long criminal history.
"He's been arrested over 15 times. Those offenses relate to drugs, robbery, assault, sexual assault, indecency with a child," said Filla.
Vance has many ties to Central Texas and law enforcement doesn't believe he's gone far.
"We do know that he has family and associates that live in Kyle and San Marcos, and we believe that he is still going to that area," said Filla.
He also has several unique tattoos that may help identify him.
"On his left shoulder, it is a smiley face with a spider web with some type of name on it. In addition to that, he also has a tattoo on his right arm with the name 'Joshua'," said Filla.
David Vance is 5'9" and weighs 210 pounds. If you have any information on his whereabouts call the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-800-336-0102 or visit usmarshals.gov/tips.

Thoughts? The above article is from April 25th, 2019, but I feel it is reasonably safe to assume Vance is still at large as of this posting date (July 15th, 2019), since I've seen no new articles stating he's been captured since. Of course if that status has changed, or changes in the future anyone is more than welcome to email our website contact form.
