It seems a couple of Florida news stations have stressed Hill may be in their area. Unfortunately it seems like a crapshoot. But for what it's worth, it seems the gulf coast (Louisiana, Florida, etc.) is publicizing the search for Hill more than other parts of the country.

Ok I found the Amtrak train schedules of cities and states along the direct route that includes Rocky Mount, north and south. No places besides Virginia where he is known to have family, however, Georgia, Maryland, and New York City, where tips have been received are along the route. Hill could have blended into a big city where he wouldn't stand out as much, and I feel he'd want to get out of the South, too close to where he's wanted. So while of course this is just amateur sleuthing, the two locations that do intrigue me the most are Philly and NYC. There are also a few neighborhoods in New York City, specifically in Brooklyn, and Queens, with a large amount of people of Caribbean descent. So it wouldn't surprise me if he was using his false Trinidadian roots in one of those neighborhoods. Of course it's possible Hill could have changed to a train to another city at another station, but as far as the direct route including Rocky Mount is concerned, those are some of my theories. www.ncbytrain.org/destinations/trains.html?id=palmettoI said NYC or Philly- he got caught in Buffalo- so I wasn't THAT far off! LOL Seriously I already knew this news and I thank HeadMarshal for moving the thread for me as I was on the go. Technically the case was never on tv, but since it was going to be on The Hunt, I guess we can count it as a tv capture. According to reports I read, Hill was working in a soup kitchen under a false name. He also still refuses to admit he's Alex Hill despite fingerprints saying he is. wtvr.com/2015/04/23/alexander-hill-captured/www.wgrz.com/story/news/2015/04/23/quadruple-homicide-suspect-captured-in-buffalo/26253407/

A few more notes- one, Hill was living a homeless convent in Buffalo. Also, according to a new article, if Hill wasn't caught, he would have been added to the US Marshals Top 15 list next week. I know sometimes we fear they've stopped updating the list if they go a long time without adding a fugitive, so this should give us some reason to relax that they are in fact paying attention to fugitives they feel should be added. wtvr.com/2015/04/24/alexander-hill-jr-had-been-staying-at-homeless-convent-under-alias/

New details are coming out that the one of the three female victims killed allegedly by Hill (they don't say who) was reportedly stabbed 20 times. Also below is a few photos of Hill and on the far right is him captured (I think.) He doesn't look much different from his pictures but does seem a little and worn out from being on the run. This case is still a tragedy- and horrific- but it also feels good to know this alleged monster is in custody. Personally, even though I know we're not the ones responsible for it, I think this is the biggest capture AMW or otherwise since I first started this forum. wtvr.com/2015/04/24/mug-shot-shows-quadruple-murder-suspect-captured-after-year-on-the-run/

Crime Watch Daily did a segment on this case today, it was mainly about the lack of publicity and media attention it received. (Although during the whole time I was watching I was thinking "hey, WE gave this case a lot of attention on our forum and it made The Hunt as well). crimewatchdaily.com/videos/0-m1jdxkow/

Found out Hill died in prison last September as the result of a pulmonary embolism (natural causes). Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. No death penalty, but karma works itself out anyway. I wish this had happened before the horrific crimes he admitted, but I hope there is comfort for the Wilkins/Chavis families that Hill was caught and held accountable and that even though he was in prison, they now truly never have to worry about him or look over their shoulder ever again. wtvr.com/2018/09/04/alexander-hill-obit/
