I think besides the unfortunate racial aspect we've had to address, another reason I feel perhaps the media isn't taking this case as seriously as it should be is that Dimas is Jonathan and Victor's father, and despite being a triple murder suspect who allegedly killed their mother, they figure he wouldn't go so far as to kill his own children as well.
The problem is you can't make that assumption as you don't what a guy who likely feels very desperate is capable of.
The media should keep in mind what happened in the manhunt for AMW fugitive Richard Sanchez. Sanchez went on the run on rape charges and several years later, his vehicle with the bodies of him and his three sons that he abducted were found at the bottom of a New Mexico lake.
There is no way that Dimas has good intentions to raise his children while on the run. The fear I have is that he perceives them to be a burden while he has to live the life of a fugitive sought on the extremely horrific charges.
Moving our thread on Dimas Coronado and the search to recover Jonathan and Victor to the "Fugitives on TV" section since this is on the list of cases for season 1 of Investigation Discovery's "In Pursuit with John Walsh."
I have no idea if it will be a full segment or just a brief mention, I'm just happy they're airing this alleged dirtbag!
