"Officials say 46-year-old Paul Eischeid, a Hell's Angels member, has been extradited back to the United States and is in the Maricopa County Jail after fleeing custody 15 years ago. According to the United States Marshals Service, Eischeid was arrested in 2013 after he was indicted for drug trafficking and RICO violations. His charges included kidnapping and homicide in connection to the brutal 2001 murder of Cynthia Garcia. Garcia, officials said, was "severely beaten, thrown in the trunk of a car, taken to the desert, stabbed 27 times and was partially decapitated." Eischeid, officials said, was released in 2003 "on his own recognizance," with electronic monitoring, but he cut off his monitoring bracelet and fled the country. U.S. Marshals said Eischeid obtained a new identity with a fake passport and even changed his appearance while on the run. He was added to the "15 Most Wanted" list in 2007. Eischeid was arrested has been in the custody of Argentinean authorities since being arrested in the country in 2011, according to officials. According to U.S. Marshals, Eischeid had been fighting extradition for the past seven years. In June, U.S. Marshals learned from the Argentinian government that Eischeid had "exhausted all of his appeals in the Argentinian government legal system." Eischeid returned to Arizona Tuesday and was booking for first-degree murder and kidnapping." www.kvoa.com/story/38688713/hells-angels-fugitive-extradited-back-to-arizona-after-15-years-on-the-run

As many of us remember, Eischeid was the #9 most wanted fugitive of John Walsh's for the year of 2004, before he was finally an indirect capture in Argentina in 2011.
I find it hard to believe it took SEVEN years, that seems even longer than usual for extradition battles, but glad he's finally back to hopefully face justice.

That's not even the longest extradition battle I've heard of. Lawrence Rivera, who AMW profiled back in 2002, was captured later that year in Australia. If I'm not mistaken, I think he finally got extradited back in 2013 or 2014.

I remember back to when I heard when he was captured back in 2011. I even added him in my own personal collection of hand typed essays that I'd worked on back in high school. I put him under biker fugitives underneath the category speed demon fugitives (fugitives that favor a certain set of wheels.... Car, truck, motorcycle, etc.) and when he was nabbed in February of 2011 I wrote in my essay with pen in hand when and where he was nabbed/captured. Now it looks like I'm going to need to add on that he's finally back in America grounds.
