On July 30, 2013, 43-year old Faye Springfield-Wadlington was found murdered in her Hopkinsville, Kentucky apartment. Soon afterwards in September of 2014, Jason Patterson was charged with allegedly killing Faye. His last known address was in Lancaster, Kentucky, more than 200 miles from Hopkinsville.
Based on news articles, it is advised to contact Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers at 270-887-8477 if you have any information on Jason Patterson's whereabouts.

-- Thoughts? I didn't see online if it was known if Jason and Faye knew each other or if the alleged motive had been determined as of yet. At least WKRN news profiled Jason last week as part of a monthly segment of Mid-Tennessee/Southern Kentucky wanted fugitives.
Unfortunately, Patterson was said to still be at large as of August 7th, 2019. There is a ton of new information in the article so I'm just going to copy and paste the article:
"Department is requesting information to find a man wanted in connection to the 2013 Hopkinsville murder of 53-year-old Faye Waddlington Springfield.
Previous reports list Springfield was found strangled and stabbed in her home July 30, 2013, and a warrant was issued for the arrest of Jason Van Patterson the following year after DNA found at the murder scene matched DNA found at the scene of a robbery that occurred in Lexington July 30, 2013.
Patterson was reportedly seen with Springfield on the day of her murder, and he has been on the run ever since. His truck was found abandoned in Lyon County in Oct. 2013.
Patterson has ties to Madisonville and Manitou and other areas of the state including Georgetown, Maysville, Lexington and Lancaster, HPD reported. He also has ties to Hgginsport and Cincinnati, Ohio, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Toronto in Canada.
HPD reports Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information that leads to Patterson’s arrest. Callers can remain anonymous and a court appearance is not required for information.
HPD asks citizens to call (270) 887-TIPS or text CRIMES (274637) and enter hpdtip in the text followed by information.
“By finding Patterson, we hope to provide the family of Mrs. Spirngfield the chance for some closure,” HPD said in a statement released today.
