His wife seems to have kept his body concealed for 18 years. I really hope they charge her for this, and not letting Gregory Adams family have some type of closure for much longer than they should have. Amazing to see this case finally solved though.

I am glad to finally post this picture, since the fugitive has been on the run since before I was born. I'm glad they found this f***er and it turns out he was eventually located, so that's one case closed.

I would like to hear more about how Webb died and how he went undetected for 19 years before he did die but I agree. Cold Cases like this have the potential to go forever unsolved, so it is a big sigh of relief that they did find his body.

Cold Cases like this have the potential to go forever unsolved, so it is a big sigh of relief that they did find his body. Today basically takes the 35 + years of burden away and it gives me renewed hope that Victor Gerena, Brad Bishop and other cold cases have a chance to see a close. July 14, 2017 is the day we finally found Webb and got closure for the Adams family and a community that's really needed it.

No way he could stay on the run that long without help. I hope anyone who helped him is made to face charges if they can. Also, as others have pointed out, maybe if they had used more photos instead of just the one mugshot, he could have been caught while he was still alive to face justice. I'm glad there's closure in this case but I hate how this piece of garbage committed murder and got away with it. The good guys don't always win and this case is sadly one of them.

As far as the photos go, we don't know when the FBI obtained them.
I guess you can also say Webb unfortunately technically got away with it, although we don't know what kind of life he had on the run and how he died. (If it was just natural causes or if he had a disease and suffered).

I agree, Good Riddence, I glad this Swine is off the streets, I hoped Gregory Adams's Family able to find closure at last that this trash is no longer a threat.

Read a couple more articles on this and it appears there will be no charges for the ex-wife forthcoming in exchange for her leading them to the body. Hate that it had to be done that way but if it means getting closure for the family, it had to be done.

There's also some who believe Webb may be paying for his crimes in hell, but except for off-topic religion and politics I'd rather not usually get into as far as fugitive discussions on the forum go. (I'm agnostic anyway. An optimistic agnostic but still agnostic lol).

The discovery of Webb's remains happened on the day of his birthday. July 14. So it's like we got somewhat of a present by having investigators discover his remains.

Unexpected news to me. Still wonder if Webb limped around after getting shot by Chief Adams... probably that old war injury excuse. Webb dying from Lead poisoning from the bullet maybe..,that would be ironic.

Seeing updates on this case about Webb and talks about his mob connections reminded me of the case of Costabile Farace, who was put on the Top Ten list back in 1989 after killing a DEA agent and taken off it after the mob had him killed due to the unwanted publicity the case brought onto them and the fear he would roll over on them to save himself. Pretty safe bet many of the mob folks Webb had ties to felt the same way so one has to wonder how much life in the open Webb was able to lead after 1980. If his location had been known, the only question would have been who got there first, the feds or the mob.

his wife's basement is like a prison itself- it's nice to know he wasn't entirely free and going on road trips and enjoying some kind of high life while on the run at least.

Chief Adams' final gunshot hit its target with Webb spending a month at the Toby Hospital to recover from the leg wound and remaining hobbled during his time hiding out given the black cane found in the house that his wife wasn't using. Adams got his revenge so it seems.
Still wonder why no one at the hospital had questions about the wound severe enough for a long hospital stay or heard any APBs for a wounded killer of a police chief...or recognizing Webb being a FBI Top Tenner. Suspicious.
Something about Webb's remains stored in Tupperware seems darkly amusing for a Hitchcock twist.
