(Above photo credit: juniorhockey.com) Fugitive Profile as of August 1st, 2017: (Based on The Hunt with John Walsh airing) Age (as of 8/1/2017); 58 Height: 5'8" Weight: 210 lbs Additional Characteristics: Has worked for years in youth hockey as a strength and conditioning coach. It is possible he is still coaching youth hockey leagues in the United States or abroad. Since 2014, had cut his hair short and allowed it to return to it's natural gray. This thread is to discuss fugitive Dino Curcio, who will be the debut fugitive when 'The Hunt' kicks off it's fourth season this Sunday at 8 PM ET on HLN. Unfortunately, we do not have the most information on this case except a short blurb as a season preview describes it as "A rapist forces his 17-year-old victim to marry him, then imprisons her in a psychological cage for seven years." I don't have an official wanted year so I just put Iowa/Colorado in the thread title. It seems based on Google searches that Curcio is wanted out of both Colorado and Iowa for various offenses seemingly involving violence against women. It also seems that Curcio was once a junior hockey coach based on previews. (the alleged raping of his victim apparently happened in Colorado and then in Iowa) If a more expansive CNN article finally appears on The Hunt website, I will edit this thread to have the article instead of this admittedly brief summary. In the meantime, here is a short article about some of the crimes Curcio was charged with and/or allegedly committed in Iowa: www.amestrib.com/news/20170725/story-county-case-to-be-featured-on-8216the-hunt-with-john-walsh8217Admin Note #1: Since Curcio has been profiled on "The Hunt with John Walsh", our advice for anyone with information on his whereabouts would be to call them at 1-866-THE-HUNT and/or submit a web tip at their tip form: www.cnn.com/interactive/2014/06/us/the-hunt/tip/
Admin Note #2: If you have any (news-related) updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

I realize on the Hunt previews they mention "wanted since 2012" so I'll just put that as the wanted year for now.

For anyone reading this thread, for some reason I don't see Dino's name on The Hunt website tip form. If you have information, I'd just click the name of any fugitive and mention specifically that your tip is not for that fugitive but for DINO CURCIO for the time being.

Just saw the episode, still no explanation as to why Dino Curcio is not on the tip form. Something else I noticed, Christopher Ponce and Jacob Wetterling are still on the tip form! I also didn't see a preview for next week's episode for those who got to see the HLN channel episode, did anyone watching see it and I missed it?
As for the episode itself, Dino is a really, really horrible person, and someone who needs to be caught before he allegedly destroys the life of another teenage girl. We know he has ties to Europe, and since he was last known to be in the Pacific Northwest around 2014, Canada is right across the border and he could be up here as well.

Ok a basic summary of the episode:
-Elisabeth (the alleged victim, please note I only say alleged for legal reasons) was a foreign exchange student from Sweden whose parents sent her to Colorado.
-Dino had her stay at his house in her bedroom and began allegedly raping her four days later.
-Elisabeth's father in Sweden committed suicide while she was still in the states. Elisabeth says Dino told her he had a relationship with her mother and was her actual father. Elisabeth is still unsure if this is true or some sort of psychological ploy, but obviously to say something like that after the father she had known had literally just committed suicide is extremely outrageous.
-Dino took Elisabeth to Vegas the day she turned 18 and Elisabeth says he told her if she didn't marry him he would kill her. The marriage was later voided since it was classified as under duress.
-Dino was actually initially married to a woman in Minnesota who initially suspected Dino might be having an affair with Elisabeth's mother, only to learn it was actually Elisabeth herself. She divorced Dino as a result.
-It all seemed to finally stop in 2012 when Dino saw a bag of "slut clothing" as Elisabeth was preparing to escape Dino and go to Florida to be a yoga teacher. He allegedly physically assaulted her, but Elisabeth managed to run out the house and hide in a gas station. That marked the end of the two living together as she was able to fly to Florida while Dino was arrested and in custody (but he later bonded out).
-Dino wound up in Washington state, but left everything behind him after the homeowner criticized him for not paying/doing his fair share.
-It's believed Dino Curcio cut his long here and could still be working as a youth hockey coach in the states or abroad.

Yeah don't know what's going on, I understand HLN as a stand-alone channel might not have the big budget CNN has to keep on top of things but you'd think since they're under the same umbrella it doesn't matter. Dino is pretty recognizable so hopefully someone has or will call The Hunt with the crucial tip anyway. But they really need to keep on top of that tip form. I also thought Canada was a strong possibility after watching the episode for the reasons you already stated.

Going to add some screen shots from The Hunt broadcast since they're better pictures than in the OP. Continued in next post (most pics from his fugitive years in Washington state, except first one might be older, if you click on the photos, you can see them in larger size. Will add more in next post. Pic 1: Pic 2: Pic 3:

Sent a private tip of something I noticed online that is probably inconsequential but you never know, and figured why don't I just tell them he's not on the tip form. Should have done that earlier so I apologize even though it shouldn't be my responsibility. Hopefully this issue will be resolved since they've now been told in an email about it.
I really hate being critical as I love the show, but I want to make sure I look out for Elisabeth and finally get this alleged creep's name on the tip form.

Proof right off the bat that the move to HLN has worked out in The Hunt's favour! If Elizabeth is reading this, I hope that if Dino is convicted, he will spend the rest of his miserable life in prison.

However, this does not mean they don't need to take care of the tip form and keep the site more updated, but I'll let us celebrate for a bit first.

I know I didn't watch his episode but at least we have the Fugitive from the first episode of the season in handcuffs.
Anyone want to be the next in handcuffs? Andre Neverson? Herman Carroll?

Of somewhat minor importance but just for reference Deer Park is a town just outside of of Chicago so it would somewhat explain Dino winding up there as it is somewhat part/near of overall Chicago which is in the Midwest and his last non-fugitive days were in Iowa.

Besides on Demand, you can also watch on CNN Go App if you have a Roku or similar streaming device. Also they are replaying the episode tomorrow (or tonight rather since it's now Friday where you are) at 8 PM on HLN.
