In 2004, Oscar Baez Fuentes fled Pima County, Arizona after killing Daniel Pacheco. He was convicted of Daniel's murder in absenta. Oscar was finally caught in Sinaloa, Mexico on October 18th. He is now awaiting his sentencing for the murder of Daniel Pacheco.
In 1993, Mario Huerta escaped from a federal prison in Texas while serving a 120-month sentence for cocaine possession. He then crossed the border into Mexico where he hid out for 24 years. Thankfully the US Marshals located him in Mexico and on Tuesday, he was deported back to US custody.

In 2006, William Lawrence absconded from custody in Utah while awaiting sentencing. He had been convicted of sexually abusing a young girl, even forcing her into engaging in sex acts while handcuffed to a bed.
Thankfully the US Marshals have tracked down the former law enforcement officer to Hawaii and arrested him on Monday.

In 1997, Rhonda Blake was sentenced to 30 months probation for drug possession. After she violated that, she was sent to a Boise, Idaho prison facility where inmates were allowed to work during the day. On Christmas Eve 1998, Rhonda walked away from the facility.
After nearly 20 years on the run, Rhonda was arrested last week in Rapid City, South Dakota.

In 1997, Ghassan Saleh walked away from a federal prison camp where he was serving a sentence for cocaine trafficking in Pennsylvania. He made his way to Lebanon where he had a family. On November 18, Ghassan traveled back to the US and voluntarily surrendered himself to the US Marshals.

In 2000, Trent Albury drove up a curb in West Palm Beach, Florida, and struck and killed a teacher while high on GHB. Trent was prosecuted in 2001 and was sentenced to 13 years. That is when he fled to the Bahamas. For years the Bahamas would not extradite him, but he recently took a trip to the Dominican Republic where he was finally arrested. He is now back in Palm Beach County.

16 years ago, arrest warrants out of New Hampshire and Massachusetts were issued for Eric Rivera-Velez. He was accused of trafficking 18 kilograms or more of cocaine near a school or park. This past January 10th, a tip was sent to authorities about drug dealing going on in a home in Methuen, Massachusetts. Two days later, police spotted Eric at the residence. He was then arrested and his identity revealed.

In 1999, Joel Trejo Chavez went on the run out of Oregon after being charged with sexual abuse. He had spent several years on the run in Mexico but at some point made his way to Waco, Texas. It was there that on Tuesday he was pulled over for a traffic stop on Tuesday and his arrest warrants were discovered.

In 1995, Enrique Silva walked away from a Camden, New Jersey prison where he was serving an 8-20 year sentence for narcotics distribution,
Now 74, Enrique was tracked down to Orlando, Florida on March 8th after investigators learned the address of a potential female acquaintance. When officers arrived, Enrique tried to flee out the back door, but was arrested by officers in the backyard.
