Thoughts? As noted above, Vanessa "Honey" Malone's murder was profiled on the April 17th, 2017 episode of the syndicated crime show "Crime Watch Daily." Additional details can be viewed or seen at the link above.
The show discusses a few factors- one is that Honey was not seemingly involved in any crime herself but got caught up and hung up with the wrong crew according to her mother. Another thing mentioned is that Honey's family is not in entire agreement that she unknowingly walked into a robbery and may have been purposely lured to the house because she "knew something.". They point to Honey's cell phone being found far from the crime scene and ask why known gangsters with guns all over the house would be scared that they would wait for The men to leave before untying themselves.
Two men known as "Yak" and "Mercy" are the ones who claimed they were tied up. Mercy is now a person of interest according to the Detective interviewed on the show while Mercy was charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a year in jail.
Crime Watch Daily says the biggest clue may have come very recently. One of the persons of interest in this case was recently.arrested with a .9 millimeter firearm. There were .9 mm shell casings at the scene of Honey's murder.
