I really hate getting into technicalities since the victims are what's most important but at the very least two separate incidents where at least one person was murdered. Sorry for not clarifying. Then only Mederos fits that bill. Anyways..... Stephenson has already been sent back to New Jersey, just wondering how this will all play out considering he committed 2 murders in 2 jurisdictions. If he is found guilty of the New Jersey murder and gets a lengthy prison sentence,it very well may be the trials end there.

Stephenson, after pleading guilty, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in the death of Olga DeJesus and her dog, Lola. Please keep in mind that while this isn't a life sentence, I don't believe he's went on trial for the death of Natina Kiah yet, so if he does, that may add on. What really f-ing outrages me though is how he stated he was sorry for what happened and still thinks about Olga and Lola every day. If you were truly sorry for what happened, you wouldn't have allegedly murdered yet another woman and her pet as well, you f-ing scumbag. You can't just go around killing people and then go "I'm sorry it happened" like a child who constantly gets in trouble for knocking things around the house. I hope the at least 30 years are very miserable for him. abc7ny.com/lamont-stephenson-olga-dejesus-natina-kiah-fbis-most-wanted/10916978/

While the 30 year sentence isn’t a lot, he did plead guilty which spares tax payers the burden of a trial, spares the victims of the pain, but automatically makes him responsible for the murder of Olga Dejesus and her dog Lola and makes him look like a coward for not being able to sit there and look at Olga’s family in the eyes for what he did. Stephenson is a 46 year old man, by the time that sentence is up, he would be 76 years old. As for the murder of Natina Kiah and her cat, Lamont Stephenson’s life is over regardless of how he pleads and how long he gets on that case, because he’ll be too old by then.

He could still go on trial and/or plead and get convicted within the next few years in regards to Natina Kiah as well, it would just be a matter of if the conviction would be concurrent or consecutive.

I'm genuinely amazed that's all he received. It sounds to me like he had a really good lawyer.

The only reason I'm not expressing more outrage is we don't know if he'll get extra time for the Kiah case. Although I would have preferred there wouldn't have been a second victim in the first place (or a first victim for that matter).

Another thing is New Jersey doesn't have the death penalty so it's pretty much Stephenson pleading to avoid life instead of pleading to avoid lethal injection.
John Walsh says he usually advises families to accept plea deals even if it means the defendant gets less time than deserved in order to avoid the pain of a trial and having to relive their loved one's death all over again.

Well he says that's the reason but to me it was just a crummy excuse for the fact that he was a controlling angry man and serial killer. He killed both Olga and Natina's pets- that doesn't indicate to me a guy who kills women to hide secrets, since last time I checked dogs and cats can't speak- but rather he was an angry controlling freak that wanted to send "FU shots" to them. I didn't think I could be even angrier at him than I was already, but his pathetic showing in court makes me want to tell me to go f himself 20,000 more times.
