I have another theory of why Yaser Said still hasn't been apprehended and as to where he may be.
After reading this, I thought about Yaser Said and how he may not be in Egypt, Canada or even The United States.
Where do I think he may be? Saudi Arabia.
This may sound far fetched or maybe even a huge possibility, but many Muslims once in their lives go and do a pilgrimage known as the Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia and perhaps Yaser has gone there in the past to do his pilgrimage.
The point is Yaser could hide out well in Mecca and even in the city of Medina because non-Muslims are not allowed to visit these places, basically a closed city, he could also be in Jeddah since it's within the vicinity too.
Without any westerners in Mecca or Medina, tips can't come in from there unless someone who goes on a pilgrimage submits a tip that he was there, but again we have the dilemma of Yaser Said having supporters, especially in Saudi Arabia, where the society is as conservative as it gets.
I must add that several tyrants have fled to Saudi Arabia and are living or have lived out their lives as fugitives there (examples: The former President of Tunisia and the ex Military Dictator of Uganda), but again the Saudis are our ally in the Middle East, but who knows if extraditing him is possible.

His quality of life in Saudi Arabia may not be all that great, foreigners - except for westerners often live as second-class citizens.

I know that this image is not from a very reliable source (some private investigator with very poor grammar and design skills), but I think that this shows pretty clearly that Said is back in Egypt with his family. Don't think we ever see him come to justice.

Yeah my feeling is it does look exactly like Yaser.
John Walsh has stated he thinks Egypt could still consider extraditing Yaser. Egypt has sent fugitives back, but it's been few and far between. it's basically just hoping for a miracle.

What is the origin of this photo and who took it? It does indeed look like him.

The P.I. stated in his blog it was from a woman he'll call 'Sabrina ' that led to the New photos/discoveries.

If someone can get these photos of him, presumably he isn't that hard to find then?

I don't know, it could be one of those cases where the fugitive is hiding in plain sight and unfortunately the country he's in won't do anything. Perhaps Yaser isn't as in hiding in we think and it's a matter of Egypt and extradition laws. We unfortunately don't really know for sure right now.

Even if we can't extradite him, at least if he was confirmed to be in Egypt we would not have to waste resources trying to track him down in the USA.

Not to be political, but Trump has cozied up to the President of Egypt, General El-SiSi even though he's not a very nice guy, so perhaps it's maybe a matter of actually finding him or it could be the "Brenda Delgado Effect" to at least get the police to do something.

Sisi will at least have a semblance of control over Egypt which means if the Egyptian authorities want to hunt down Said they will find him.

John Walsh has stated he's hoping for Egypt to basically say "you know what, in this case, we don't want a guy who brutally murdered his own two daughters to be in our country" and will send him back.
This theoretically should be a case where human emotion should appeal even to leaders of a country we don't always agree with or get along with. I know in theory but still.

Here's hoping. I think this guy is easier to catch if he is in Egypt than in the USA as he is probably living quite openly in Cairo or Alexandria.

This guy has been a fugitive that I have really wanted to see brought to justice. I'm not sure how the passport or transportation system work when being a fugitive and going to another country, but I wonder if Yaser used one of his brother's passport/ID to leave the United States. This theory came to my mind because in photos that I have seen, he looks a lot like his brothers and could fool people with one of their IDs. Again,it's just a theory, but you never know...
