(Above photo credit: CBS Phoenix website) Fugitive Profile as of December 2nd, 2017: (Based on "The Hunt" airing, local (Arizona/Tucson area) online articles) Date of Birth: 10/31/1987 Height: 5'6" Weight: 160 lbs Scars/Marks/Tattoos: Has tattoos on his arms and chest, one is a hard hat Additional Characteristics: May work in construction or similar jobs Who to call if you've seen him: Arizona's Silent Witness program at 480-WITNESSThe next seven AMW cases I'm profiling all have a common theme, their crimes took place in locations frequented by members of the public. Starting off we have web exclusive fugitive Elton Jardines. On May 31, 2009, Phoenix authorities say an altercation broke out between two groups of people at a Quick Trip gas station. Four women arrived at the gas station to make a purchase. The women got into a fight with another woman in a nearby SUV. Pretty soon, Elton Jardines stepped in and opened fire at the group of four women (not the woman with him in the SUV), the gunfire murdering Crystal Arrona and Joanna Lopez, as well as wounding the other two women. Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the double murder but witnesses saw gang signs being flashed right before the shootings. The woman in the SUV was quickly arrested. Authorities were also looking for another man, Victor Navarrette in connection with this case, however with no recent media reports and no amw.com profile, I can only presume that Navarrette has been captured. Jardines is still wanted and was most recently featured a month ago as part of a Phoenix TV station's Manhunt Monday feature. Thoughts? The amw.com profile mentions that although he's hispanic, he's most likely in Arizona or California (nothing mentioning Mexico as a possible destination). Authorities also aren't sure if he's fluent in spanish. This makes me feel that he's probably hiding out in Southern California and working as a laborer. ktar.com/?sid=1172991&nid=6www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=71636 (link no longer working but case was on AMW) kpho.membercenter.worldnow.com/story/22175986/manhunt-monday-2-fugitives-wanted-on-murder-chargesAdmin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

What I don't get is why AMW never aired him if they feel he's still in the states. They air so many hispanic fugitives likely in Mexico yet with him- it makes no sense.

Another article with some more info: Investigators believe he could still be in the Phoenix area. It's also believed Jardines may have altered his appearance by using facial piercings and possibly botox. According to one sentence in the article: "Now, investigators believe Jardines could be in the Valley, in Baja, California or in the Riverside area." I'm assuming they mean Baja California in Mexico. There's also a Riverside in Arizona and California so any clarifications would be helpful. ktar.com/story/983470/us-marshals-looking-for-suspect-who-may-be-in-phoenix-area/

Wanted to mention that according to Youtube, Elton Jardines was featured on the February 3, 2017 episode of A&E's Live PD.

Forgot to mention the newest article I posted says that Jardines may have a young son with him.

On the Hunt airing tonight, they mentioned that a tip that the Marshal seemed to believe was promising was Jardines possibly being spotted at a Burlington Coat Factory in Ontario, California in 2012.
Unfortunately, video footage was not available for the Marshal to view by the time the tip came into him.

Haven't found anything new since "The Hunt" profiles him, but considering this is a high-profile case that has been aired on two national crime shows, I feel it is pretty safe to assume that Jardines is still at large as of this update (7/22/2018).

Great news that both Shannon Fox and Elton Jardines were caught this week after spending nine years on the run! I checked the timestamp and I had originally posted Elton's case five years ago during the first year of this forum's existence. Hopefully Final Justice can be obtained if Elton is found guilty in an Arizona court of law.

As we've reported on, not sure exactly what the status of the Flores-Albarran brothers are at the moment, but if we could one day confirm their arrests, along with Taizhi Cui, Leonidas Torres and Mario Gonzalez San Ronan, that would be really great.

Great to see another Season 4 capture even though it doesn’t seem to be a direct one!

Similar to Chris Ponce, The Hunt seemed to help reignite the publicity even if not them per se.
