Age: 36 Race: Hispanic Gender: Male Height: 5'5 Weight: 170 lbs Hair: Black Eyes: Brown --- On April 25, 2014, authorities in Greenbelt, Maryland found the body of Emilia Ignacio in a car. Emilia had been stabbed to death. Emilia had been reconciled with her boyfriend, Juan Ramon-Balderas who was the father of her 1-year old son. Authorities then issued an arrest warrant for Juan in connection with Emilia's murder. Juan was last known to have been driving a 2005 Red Jeep Cherokee with Maryland tags 1AG9751. --- Thoughts? Both Emilia's 1-year old son and 11-year old daughter have been left parentless as a result of her murder which makes this case even more tragic. Emilia wanted to become a lawyer to assist the local immigrant community. Juan needs to be held accountable for Emilia's murder, although we don't have possible locations as to where he could be right now. He's Hispanic but is he of Mexican or Central American descent, or could he even still be somewhere in the US. According to online articles, Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Mr. Ramon is urged to contact the Greenbelt Police Department at 240-542-2133. Callers wishing to remain anonymous should call Prince George's County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477)

A fugitive allegedly murdering his spouse or girlfriend is always a terrible crime, but the callousness is heightened when he commits the crime having a child with the woman or knowing the woman has a child.
Anyone's guess is as good as mine as far as whereabouts are concerned.

I can't find the case against Ramon-Balderas in Maryland's online criminal court case records. However, since he's still listed on Prince George's County Crime Stoppers (same link as in HeadMarshal's OP), it is good enough for me to reasonably assume that he is still at large as of this update. The Hispanic community here in Maryland is pretty much mixed, with mostly people from El Salvador, but you also have a reasonable Hondurans, Guatemalans, Mexicans, Peruvians, Colombians and in recent years some Venezuelan population.

Emilia Ignacio was just added this morning to Project: Cold Case's "Faces of Unsolved Homicides" page. She is victim #644. Therefore, this also confirms Juan Ramon-Balderas is still at large and not in custody as of October 29, 2019. www.projectcoldcase.org/faces-of-unsolved-homicide/
