From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution website (ajc.com):
A man who allegedly raped and kidnapped his girlfriend in April is now a person of interest in the woman’s July shooting death, the U.S. Marshals Service said Monday.
The agency’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Alfredo L. Capote, who is wanted on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, armed robbery, rape and aggravated sexual battery, Inspector Alex Camacho said.
In April, Capote allegedly raped actress and model Jokisha “Kisha” Brown at her Duluth home with her son present, took her to a Cobb County hotel, raped her again and took her to middle Georgia, authorities said. She eventually escaped after “a brutal and prolonged assault,” Gwinnett police said a few days after the incident.
Brown was shot and killed in northeast Atlanta on July 1 — one day before her 36th birthday. She was in her black Mercedes SUV at a Cheshire Bridge Road strip mall when someone shot her multiple times through the front passenger side window, police said.
Just days ago, police said they were looking for a man seen in the area the night before and right after the shooting. While they did not identify or offer a description of the man, they released grainy images of him.
“We believe (Brown) was the intended target,” Atlanta police Maj. Adam Lee said Thursday. “Whoever did this meant to kill her. It looks like a hit.”
Capote, who is also wanted in connection with a federal fraud case, is considered armed and dangerous, Camacho said. He is 5-foot-10, weighs 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about Capote is asked to call Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-8477, the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office 770-619-6500, the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force at 770-508-2500 or the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102. Tips can also be emailed to usms.wanted@usdoj.gov.
All tips are confidential, Camacho said.

Thoughts? What is it with Georgia lately, I think this guy just replaced Tonya Monroe as my #1 fugitive of 2016 so far, I had no idea anything could top that. I hope the Marshals add Capote to their top 15 list if he isn't caught soon.
