Warrants have been issued for Ramon Rosas-Ramirez, a 21-year-old Hispanic male approximately 5 feet, 8 inches from Calhoun.
Rosas-Ramirez is charged with fleeing the scene of an accident and vehicular homicide. According to officials with the Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT), Rosas-Ramirez was driving a 2003 Ford Expedition north on I-75 at about 10 p.m. Saturday when he rear-ended a 2006 Dodge Durango near exit 315.
The Durango was driven by 52-year-old Robert Clark Woodall of St. Petersburg, Fla. Woodall was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Felicia Douglas, 51, of Akron, Ohio, was taken by LifeForce helicopter to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga for treatment of serious injuries.
According to authorities, Rosas-Ramirez fled on foot and is reported to have friends and family in the Gordon County area. If you see Rosas-Ramirez, or know of his whereabouts, call 911 immediately.

Thoughts? Ramon Ramirez is my Georgia case as part of my 50 States/50 Cases thread campaign. He would be 24-years old according to his mention on the Gordon County Sheriff's Department website. He's probably fled from the local Georgia area by now and could be somewhere in Latin America. The contact phone number for the Gordon County Sheriff's Department is 706-629-1244 or 706-879-5467 so those would be the numbers we'd recommend if anyone reading this has information regarding Ramon's whereabouts.
