(Above photo credit: usmarshals.gov) Sex: Male Race: Hispanic DOB: 01/25/1979 POB: Mexico Height: 6'1 Weight: 265 lbs Eyes: Brown Hair: Black -- The US Marshals in Las Cruces, New Mexico are searching for Genaro Torres on sexual offenses against a child. They say that Genaro used his position of authority to sexually abuse a child from 2004 to 2010. The first sexual offenses occurred when the victim was just 12-years old. -- Thoughts? Thankfully the US Marshals in New Mexico do an excellent job of profiling fugitives that other media sources can miss. I'm pretty sure that Genaro went on the run in 2010 so that's why I put the wanted year in the topic title as 2010. Dona Ana County is right on the US/Mexico border so since Genaro was born in Mexico, he's probably hiding out south of the border. According to online wanted poster, If you have information on the whereabouts of Genaro Torres, then contact the US Marshals in Las Cruces, New Mexico at 575-527-6850.

Not only do the Marshals do a great job at updating cases, but they very often update their New Mexico cases with new fugitives all the time.
Nothing to add as far as sleuthing on possible whereabouts.

I no longer see Torres on the U.S. Marshals website. However, it seems they removed all their New Mexico fugitives, so I'm going to assume he is still at large as of this posting update. (4/23/2018). However, if anyone has any updates, please feel free to let us know.

And can't find Torres in New Mexico court records either but once again feel it's reasonably safe to assume he's still wanted as of this update (10/21/2019) since I've found nothing to suggest otherwise and if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
