Valeria Maxon is wanted for leaving her treatment supervision.
In 2006, Valeria and her husband Michael were living in California with their newborn son. During the spring, Valeria had been suffering from panic attacks every few hours which was causing a huge strain on their life. A few months later, Valeria tried to commit suicide and was admitted to a local hospital. In June, they moved to Texas where on the 30th of the month, Valeria drowned their then 9-month old son in the hot tub. She had killed their son because she thought that he was the antichrist.
Valeria was committed to a Texas mental hospital until 2014 when she was sent to a residential treatment center. She arrived in August of that year and she left the facility in the following October, causing a warrant to be issued for her arrest.

Thoughts? This past February, Valeria was added to the Tarrant County, Texas Most Wanted list which brought this manhunt back to the media's attention. Since Valeria is truly mentally ill and not a malicious parent who was sent to jail, I feel sorry for her but she still needs to abide by the terms of her court conditions, for the safety of everyone. Without treatment and monitoring, I fear who she's with and for her own safety. Mental illness is horrible and can cause people to do truly bad things to innocent people. I feel more sorry for her son who never had a chance in life.
According to online articles, if you have information on the whereabouts of Valeria Maxon then contact Crimestoppers at 817-469-8744. As of February 1, 2016, there was a $1000 reward being offered for information leading to Valeria's arrest.
