Adalberto Saenz and two other men were charged in the brutal 1984 rape, kidnapping and near-fatal stabbing of a Chicago woman lured from a tavern. All three signed confessions describing how they gang-raped her and then sliced her body with broken bottles before passing headlights caused them to flee.
But while one of the three was convicted, Saenz and the other co-defendant posted bail of only $7,500 apiece, and vanished.
After several years when he was apparently in Mexico, Saenz resurfaced in McAllen, Texas, where he registered to vote in 1995 and bought a modest home on East Water Lilly Avenue while working at the nearby Pemex warehouse in Hidalgo, records examined by the Tribune show — all despite his unpaid $75,000 bond judgment.

Thoughts? A few years ago, the Chicago Tribune did a feature story on fugitives out of the Chicago area that fled prosecution in foreign countries and the difficulties in getting them arrested. Although some of those fugitives have thankfully been caught, Adalberto Saenz is seemingly still at large as of April 2nd, 2016. Since we know that he was living in Texas near the Mexico border in 1995, I'm assuming he isn't there anymore otherwise local authorities would just have to show up to his home and arrest him.

Based on online articles/crime location, it is our advice that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Adalberto Saenz contact the Chicago Police Department at home.chicagopolice.org/
