All are similar but I would say Ranger Lacy since he is the only one that comes to close to Sheffield when it comes to amount of pornographic images. I believe police found over 64,000 images Sheffield owned or shared while the number for Lacy is 40,000 plus.
I was always surprised Sheffield never made the top 10 list but turns out it was a good call after all. (Although I don't think ANYONE thought he was dead).

Also what's the same about both fugitives is that they were/are both wanted out of the southeastern United States and their cases were/are being investigated by FBI field offices that haven't landed on the Top Ten within the last 10 years or so. Plus many of us consider(ed) Sheffield and Lacy potential Top Tenners. So they have many similarities besides crime.

Now that summer is nearly over I am somewhat surprised we haven't seen a top 10 replacement yet.
If I recall correctly in 2009 they added Jose Saenz, Eduardo Ravelo, and Semion Mogilevich all at once so I wouldn't be surprised if they add three new fugitives in one day once they finally update the list.

When those 3 were added it was one Fugitive over the course of 3 days during October 19-21, 2009 Jose Saenz was added on Oct 19, 2009 Eduardo Ravelo on Oct 20, 2009 And Semion Mogilevich on Oct 22, 2009. Technically the FBI would add new fugitives in December since they usually add them then, but now that we have a new director, it could be soon, if Wray wants to work fast.

As said before I think we might be misunderstanding the FBI Director's role in making the top ten list since it seems a collaborative process and all he has to do is say yes or no.
So the lack of addition could just mean the process hasn't been completed yet.
Although for whatever reasons FBI Top 10 additions seemed to happen much faster under Director Comey than they did with Director Mueller.

That was also the first pre-Comey era fugitive capture in recent memory, at least that I can recall off-hand.

haha it's ok I moved them to the right thread for you. Don't get me wrong a lot of great captures happened under Comey's tenure. Just let's hope we see some more Mueller-era fugitive captures as well soon. (EVERY fugitive on the list is now from either Mueller or Comey's tenure after removal of some other cases).

Hoping for an update sometime within the next few months. Lots of cases could use the publicity.

First addition under new FBI director top 10, seems like pretty much the same type of case added in recent memory and pretty much continuity from the Comey era.
