From fugitivekillers.com:
"Vidal Rodriguez-Alvarez is accused of hurling a screwdriver hitting a 15-year-old girl in the head, who died of her injury three days later. An arrest warrant has been issued for Vidal Rodriguez-Alvarez, who is now most wanted by the Milwaukee Police for first-degree reckless homicide in the death of Liliana Razo.
According to witnesses and the criminal complaint issued, on September, 5, 2008, an exchange of insults occurred outside the South Division High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, between members of two rival gangs, Clanton 14 (C-14) and Mexican Posse. The victim, Razo, was sitting in a minivan occupied by C-14 gang members, she shouted out, " you MPK," (Mexican Posse killer) at Rodriguez-Alvarez and another Mexican Posse gang member. Insults continued to be exchanged between the two groups until school security staff intervened. The C-14 gang member then returned to their minivan and drove away.
Approximately six blocks from the school, in the 1900 block of South 13th Street, Roberto Salazar, the driver of the minivan, slowed when he saw the same two Mexican Posse gang-bangers. Rodriguez-Alvarez, then approached the vehicle and threw a screwdriver, which flew through Salazar's window and stuck in Razo's temple. Salazar then drove the injured girl to 2nd District police station, and carried her inside with the screwdriver still lodged in her head. Three days later on the morning of September, 8, 2008, Liliana Razo died after losing brain function at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Additionally, the fellow Mexican Posse gang member who accompanied Rodriguez-Alvarez claimed that Rodriguez-Alvarez used the screwdriver to start the car they were driving. He stated Rodriguez-Alvarez threw the screwdriver through the driver's side window of the minivan, walked back to the car and drove off.
Most who are reading this story probably are thinking that Liliana Razo opened her mouth in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, Liliana Razo just lived in a poor neighborhood. Liliana Razo was an aspiring entertainer, if she had lived, she may have eventually left Milwaukee for a career in the entertainment. A testament of this talented 15-year-old teenager's abilities can be found published on the internet in videos."
Thoughts? Yeah, based on the account here, it wasn't wise to pop off at alleged gang members, or hang out with alleged gang members either, but at the end of the day, Liliana was still a 15-year old girl that didn't deserve to be killed. She was a teenage girl, and they don't always make the best choices. Once she got out of that neighborhood, she could have wised up and made the right choices.
Rodriguez-Alvarez is from Mexico, and could have fled back there although he last lived in Milwaukee. It's important to study the listed known tattoos. Those could be the clue to solving his whereabouts. The fugitivekillers.com has a YouTube link of Liliana singing, so who knows what might have happened had she not been killed. We could have been watching her on American Idol, America's Got Talent, etc. but now we'll never know.
