Larry Castaneda is wanted for the murder of his father, Mike Castaneda.
As an infant, Larry was abandoned by both parents, and was raised by Mike's parents. When he was 13, he came back to live with his father. By then, all he cared about was riding with biker gangs and getting high. Throughout the next 20 years, Castaneda, high on drugs, was constantly in trouble, and his father always bailed him out of jail. But in 1984, when he was arrested for shooting a correctional officer, Mike refused to help him. He served his time, but was soon incarcerated again for breaking his girlfriends neck with a baseball bat.
Both father and son resented each other. Larry blamed his dad for not being around when he was younger and Mike was embarrassed by Larry's behavior. Despite the relationship, Mike visited Larry every week while he was incarcerated.
After he was released, Larry's new girlfriend accused him of kidnapping and raping her. She never filed charges, but Larry believed he was wanted for rape and parole violation. Terrified of going back to prison, he turned to his father, who agreed to hide him. While Larry hid, the two began arguing again, this time over Larry's work around the house. Mike hinted to a neighbor that it would end badly and thought Larry was going to kill him.
In May 1991, the two got into another argument that set Larry over the edge. He took Mike's pistol and shot him execution style. He then sat down and wrote a letter detailing his relationship with his father. Authorities believe he intended to commit suicide, but then changed his mind. He tried to burn down the house, but used the wrong solution to burn with. He took his father's car and abandoned it in a parking lot.
I'm sort of at a loss in guessing where he might be at. I think there's a chance he may have eventually committed suicide later on. He probably didn't quit his drug habit either, so he might've died from an overdose. He had several tattoos all over his body, so you'd think he'd be intentified by now.
