Hi horton123, Thanks for joining our forum. It would not surprise me to hear this or other stories or that Lyons was even worse than initially thought. Although since he's already convicted, I'm not sure if this would ever manifest itself in court. While I'm glad he's in jail now and some justice will be served, his sentence was 10 years right? He really should never see the light of day again if you ask me. I hope if anything is out there that could put him away for good it can be revealed if it isn't too late.

I do believe Lyons sentence was 10 years. And he had no intention of serving his time. He must have run out of resources to stay hidden. But at least he is where he belongs now.

Lyons sentencing will be next month. He's apparently requested some kind of probation or leniency. Prosecutors want to make sure he serves his original nine year sentence. If you ask me, Lyons is lucky all he got was 9 years. Just because he turned himself in doesn't give him a discount because in my opinion he probably did it on purpose to attempt to get a reduced sentence and essentially get away with what he was convicted of. m.newson6.com/story.aspx?story=37417671&catId=112042

And I know why the one girl changed her story. Lyons was upset that she told investigators everything. He would put notes on her car to threaten her. Lyons told her to get a counselor to say she was suicidal so she would not have to testify. All Lyons idea. He needs to serve his entire sentence.

Just wanted to correct myself since it's he re-sentencing as opposed to sentencing.
But yeah he probably would have gotten more had the girls testified.
