Hector Noe Duran Rosas was aired on the May 25th, 2002 episode of America's Most Wanted as a commercial break fugitive. Below is the archived description of the case:
"South Carolina cops say Hector Rosas murdered his ex-girlfriend, Edna Crisp, in October 2000.
According to police, Crisp called them at 10:00 p.m on October 26, 2002 to tell them that her ex-boyfriend, Rosas, was trying to get into her home. But by the time officers arrived, Rosas had left. Officers found Rosas at 10:30 p.m. at a pay phone and told him he was not allowed to return to Crisp's home. If officers found him there, they would arrest him for trespassing. Rosas walked away from the officers, crying.
Police say on October 27, 2000 at 9:00 a.m., Crisp's friend came to pick her up to take her to work. The friend noticed that one of the windows in the home was broken. She opened the door, went into the home and found Crisp lying in a pool of blood on the living room floor. Crisp had been stabbed and strangled to death."
Thoughts? Considering the brutality of the crime, along with INS thinking Rosas initially didn't flee the U.S. I am surprised AMW never aired this case for more than 8 seconds. It's now been about 15 years as of this posting, so Rosas could be back in Mexico or anywhere else by now.
UPDATE: Aside from AMW, I found nothing additional online about this case. While I am assuming that Rosas is still at large as of this update (7/19/2018), my advice would be to double check he is still wanted but do call in a tip to your nearest Crime Stoppers or police line if you know his whereabouts.
