Reynaldo Pimienta is wanted for attempted murder. He was aired as an APB case on Nov 11, 2000.
Pimienta and Olga Restrepo were in a relationship with two children when Olga ended the relationship, she had previously done this on and off. On May 11, 2000, Reynaldo followed Olga to work and pulled up in his car, proceeding to open fire with a gun on Olga. Her injuries left her paralyzed from the waist down. An officer found Olga in her car and radioed a manhunt for Reynaldo. Reynaldo was stopped soon after for speeding but escaped and fled when that officer went to radio for backup. Reynaldo then went his home and took supplies and drove off with them in his rental car which was supposed to be returned to Tampa, Florida, however he soon rented another car which was later turned in, however he then disappeared.
---
Thoughts? Despite Reynaldo originally being from Cololmbia and possibly fleeing back there, he could also be in New York City where he had acquaintances. Interestingly enough, the archived amw.com page also mentioned that he may be during con artist schemes.
