This is a cold case many in law enforcement including in Seaside, California are trying to solve since the late 1990s. She was featured in a AMW missing alert in 1998. However, it is unclear she was featured further than that. From the FBI: "Christina Marie Williams was last seen on the evening of June 12, 1998, at approximately 7:30pm as she departed her home to walk her dog. When her parents found the dog still on its leash near their residence, they phoned the police. The family lived on the old Fort Ord near Seaside, California. The remains of Christina Williams were found in a wooded area on the northern rim of Fort Ord in Monterey County, California, on January 12, 1999." Sadly it seems Christina was abducted, and although the article is from 1999, the attempted kidnapping in Petaluma is eerily similar to the probably kidnapping of Christina Williams.
I actually remember this case airing on AMW which was during my first few years of watching the show.
